I can't believe she would say that when she knew Tyrese would take her seriously.
"Carter just let me in please." She begged from behind the door. I locked her out.
"No." Not sure if she heard because my face was shoved in my pillow.
"I'm sorry it was a joke. CARTAAAAAH." I waited for a while and noticed she stopped knocking.
I sat up next to the door to see if there was anyone on the other side. I heard a boy talking to lani but I could only hear a few words like don't worry and she'll forgive you.

After a while there was a knock at my door
"Carter, please let me in, it's keiran."
Wait, how did he get in my house?
I decided to let him in because I can't live on sweets forever.
I shut the door quickly as soon as he strolled in so that no one else could enter.
"What are you doing here?" I whisper shouted.
"Just checking up on my bestie then I heard you crying." He looked genuinely concerned.
"Fine I'll tell you what's wrong, sit down I might end up crying and need you to comfort me.
My mum and tyrese was asking how yesterday was then lani mentioned jack and she was like...he's my boyfriend then tyrese freaked out coz he thought is was true." When I finished I looked from him to the window. We were sitting in awkward silence, I think he was trying to think of a way to respond.
"Would it really be such a bad thing if jack was your boyfriend?" He asked curiously.
"Wait, what?" I'm so confused right now.
"Can't you see it. Jack likes you so damn much. The way he looks at you, talks to you, he would do anything for you. You're really special to him you know." Keirans eyes began to water.
"Are you seriously crying right now." I laughed wiping his eyes.
"NAH HAYFEVER."
"I gotta go see him now."
I hurriedly got up and put on the first thing I found which was my grey hype tracksuit and brown ugg boots before jumping out the window.
Once I was on the ground I looked up to keiran.
"You coming or nah."
He shrugged before jumping onto the tree to get to the ground. Smh so dramatic.
We ran to jacks house which was round the corner.
We all live in the sane area.
I violently knocked the door to the tune of I'm different- 2 chainz.
Jack came to the door in grey Nike sweats, no shirt and very wet hair.
His face lit up when he saw me but turnt jealous when he saw keiran.
"Hi carter, keiran." He said glaring at him.
"Jack we need to talk." I said fiddling with my fingers.
"Oh okay. I've been meaning to talk to you anyway, um let's go in the garden.
Keiran you go in the house." He led me to his back garden. He sat on the swing and I layed in the grass opposite.

"Listen carter, I don't want to scare you away so promise me that after everything I say we will still remain friends." He started off, raising an eyebrow.
I nodded getting kindbof worried about what he would say.

"When I fist saw you I never thought if anything but a regular school girl but that day we had our first conversation on the bus. I started to like your personality even though it only lasted 1 minute."
I laughed at the thought remembering when lani claimed I was shouting so I asked him, but he couldn't hear me so I left it. I assume that meant I wasn't shouting
"I saw you ever day after that. I never knew what to do but stare. Imbsorry if I freaked you out, but not gonnablie I saw you catch a glance ever once in a while." He laughed brushing his hair out his face.
I buried my head in his shoulder from embarrassment.
"Was it that obvious that I liked you?" I was hoping he said no but I already knew the answer.
"Well, not really except the fact that everytime I was around u and Leilani she would say my name in an Australian accent. You guys are pretty loud."
"Heeeeyyyy you said I wasn't when I asked you." I said repeatedly tying his shoe lace.
"I didn't actually hear what you said. My mum said I've gone death from listening to music too loud in my headphones then took them away from me."
We both laughed as we shared a love for loud music.
I began thinking about this conversation when I realised jack and I wouldn't work. Everyone thinks HES a fuccboi and that I'm just living in my head.
"I'm so sorry." I got up kissing his cheek before running away.

(Jack POV)
Wtf. Why did she run off like that.
I went back inside to keiran to talk to him.
"Hey keiran did carter come in here?"
"No why?" He was suddenly alarmed.
"Shit we need to find her." I ran upstairs getting my matching adidas top and my huaraches. I threw keiran my spare long board then grabbed my favorite blue one.

Phone call with leilani
J: hey leilani is after home?
L: no did u lose her.
J:we were kinda talking then she suddenly ran off. I have no idea where she went.
L: I think I know. Come to her house and I'll help u.
End of phone call.
"FAM we can't have lost her. Her mum will go mental." Keiran panicked.
I encouraged him that we'll find her.
I knocked the door waiting for leilani
She came out with her wooden long board with purple wheels.
"Follow me." She ordered and that's what we did until we got to The Running Track.
She took us behind the massive hill to a large willow tree.
"Are you sur..." She shushed me and said listen.
Faintly I heard sniffles coming from inside the tree.
I pushed the leaves aside and saw Carter laying on the grass with a tear stained face
"Carter don't cry. Please just talk to me." I sat next to her and pulled her closer. Her tears ran down my neck.
"Jack, we all know your a fuccboi and im a idiot for getting my hopes up." She wiped my eyes with my sleeve.
"WAIT WHO SAID IM A FUCCBOI!" My face turnt red.
"Everyone says so. I don't wanna believe it though."
"Don't listen to them. Your not getting your hopes up.
We are normal teenagers. And I am NOT a fuccboi. Who knows what could happen."
She squealed as I pulled her on top of me.
"YAAAAAAY!" Leilani and Keiran screamed jumping on top of us.
"GET OFF ME YOU FAT PIG!" Carter shouted pushing Keiran away.
