Gwenpool: Previously, on Pools of Love!

Gwenpool: Let me up there! I haven't seen my baby in eight months!
She tries to crawl up the wall like Spider-Man but promptly falls on her ass. Wasp chuckles but Y/n finds the display oddly endearing as he smiles down at her.

Y/n: Only the first three of you to complete the challenge will be able to call yourselves Avengers.

Squirrel Girl: What's the last challenge?
Y/n steps a little away from the candidates and climes atop a small stand. It rises dramatically and walls in the room shift and contort to form a labyrinth.
Y/n: The Maze!

Gwenpool: You can't retire, Beans! We OWN YOU!

Gwenpool: And now, back to the show!
Y/n watches from his perch as the six candidates stare at the blank and empty maze. Six separate entrances form for them each to go through as they stand and watch.
Squirrel Girl: There's a twist, right? It's not just a maze?
Y/n: Correct!
Due to being so high up, Y/n has to shout in order to be heard by the candidates. As the others try to pay attention to his words, Gwen tries to look up his shirt.
Y/n: Each of you has their own customised route based on what you showed us in the previous round. Six of you are going in, but only the first three of you to finish will become Avengers.
Gwenpool: We know! You said! Like, a few times!
Y/n: Right...
From the deck, the three Avengers present speak to the candidates through the intercom system, Kamala flinches as she wasn't expecting sound to come from the booming, previously dormant, speakers.
Captain America: All of you will enter when Mr. L/n fires the starting pistol.
Y/n brandishes a starting pistol which one would expect to see at sporting events such as a track race at the olympics.
Captain America: After that, it's just a matter of who gets out the quickest.
Hawkeye: How do we know all of the routes are fair? In terms of difficulty, I mean.
Scarlet Witch: The X-Men's Hank McCoy trialed all six routes for us, no route has any more than a five second advantage.
Wasp: You'll also be seeing more holographic foes in there. Only, this time, you'll have to pick your battles.
The six prepare themselves. Clint and Shang Chi do some stretches as the girls offer each other friendly encouragement. Deadpool does... whatever it is he does.
Y/n: On your marks...
All prepare themselves for a sprint as the assigned entryways slowly open up before them.
Y/n: Get set...
A brief silence. Y/n fires the pistol and the six shoot off into their tunnels. Once gone, Y/n looks from his podium to the deck where the Avengers stand.
