It's been 2 weeks since you've seen Dan in the shop and he has only texted once since you two exchanged numbers. He texted you asking if you'd like to hang out sometime and you said yes. You were to go this fancy restaurant by Williams street today after your shift. You don't usually go to fancy restaurants because you always feel awkward and out of place but you decided to go anyways because you haven't gone out in a while. Finally my shift is over you thought to yourself as you smiled at the clock and rushed home to get dressed.
You wore a red sparkly dress that wasn't too revealing and a black sweater over it. For your shoes you decided to go with some black converse. You had always been horrible at fashion but you didn't mind. You were just going to hang out with Dan anyways. It's not like it's a date or anything you thought. You look at the time and realize that your going to be late! You rush into your car and drive to the restaurant. It took you a couple minutes to find it but at least you got there. You walked in and saw Dan waiting there with a bouquet of flowers. "Hey Dan!", you say genuinely happy to see him. You feel butterflies in your stomach for some odd reason.
Dan's Pov
She looks so beautiful tonight and her dress is so gorgeous. I love her sense of style and her black sweater. I must look like a dork in my suit and bow tie.
Y/N POV
"y/n! umm.. these are for you" He nervously hands you the flowers as he rambles on about how he's sorry if they aren't your favorite and how he tried to find the prettiest ones.
"Haha thank you Dan I love them!" Dan blushes when you say this.
You go in and find your seats that Dan made reservations for. He pulls the chair out for you and you sit down. "Ahh what a lovely couple! What shall I get for you today?" The waiter says as Dan's face turns as red as a strawberry. "The Beef Wellington and a coke for me" Dan just stares at you wondering why you didn't object to him saying that you two are a couple. "Just get him some sushi appetizers for now" you say to the waiter. "We aren't.." you realize Dan is going to say that you two aren't a couple so you lean over the table and kiss him. It only lasted for a couple seconds until the waiter left. You sit back down as if nothing happened and smile with relief as Dan looks at you with confusion.
