Maeve

Game day, I had never been so nervous in my entire life. The press was out in full force, that made me scared. I had been photographed already walking near Leah, I didn't want to be linked to her online.

I wasn't mentally well enough for the hate that I would receive. I knew it would be a lot, I mean Leah was a sought after girl. A lot of the fans gave her ex a lot of hate, I wasn't going to be okay with that. So this relationship would be private for as long as possible.

Also the fact that Skye still doesn't know.

I was yet to have a real conversation with Leah since yesterday. Skye had been glued to my side, I had only been able to exchange a few text messages with her.

Leah: Where are you?

I look down as my phone dings as I sit in the VIP area. There were more people around as I sit looking at Skye and Sophie as they cuddle into one another.

I don't even think they were paying attention to me.

Maeve: Some random VIP area, why where are you?

Leah: Come to the cool down room?

Maeve: On way x

I stand up from my seat and right away I notice that they didn't even look up to notice my movement. I just mumble something about going to the bathroom and Skye makes some kind of noise to acknowledge that I was going somewhere.

I was so grateful for Sophie right now.

I make my way to the cool down room, there were fans everywhere. I did all I could to keep my head down, I didn't need people seeing me walking into the cool down room. Once I was in the right area I picked up my pace before I arrived at the door.

I knock three times before the door opens, in one second I was pulled into the room and was pressed up against the way. Leah's lips devouring mine, I didn't even argue with her. My arms wrapping around her neck as I pull her closer to my body.

"God I missed you" she mumbles against my lips as mine moved against hers.

It hadn't even been that long but it felt like a life time, I missed her like we had been kept apart forever.

I guess ever since my realisation about being deeply in love with her I had missed her more than anything. I just wanted to be around her at all times.

"Did you miss me princess?" she says as her lips part from mine, her forehead pressed against mine and I cant help but smirk at her.

I wanted to burst out and tell her that I was in love with her, but I had to keep it in for now.

"I missed you so much" I say softly and I feel her hands on my waist. I looked into her beautiful eyes, I could melt into a pool of mush right now just looking at her, "more than you'll ever know"

She lets out a small giggle, her body pulls away from mine. It was nearly time for her to head out onto the pitch, I guess that's why she wanted to see me before she had to go.

I watch as Leah makes her way to sit down on the couch and I don't even hesitate and follow the actions I had once before.

I walk over to her, moving my legs over hers to straddle her.

"Do you get nervous before a game?" I ask her as my hand plays with her hair.

Her eyes stared into mine as I run my hands through her hair as she looks at me.

She examines every inch of my face.

"Sometimes, I mean I get more nervous knowing that you'll be here" I cant help but cock my eyebrow at her. She was nervous around me? "you look surprised" she laughs.

"Well, why?" I ask her, my hands still playing with her hair. I could run my hand through her soft hair all day.

"I want to do well for you"

I crumbled, I would always crumble for this girl in front of my eyes right now. She was everything I had always wanted, Leah Williamson was a girl that I had always dreamed of.

Now she was mine.
