It's early in the morning and the dorm thirty-eight girls are excited as soon as Kimberly wakes them up. They don't take their time getting ready, hurrying each other to hurry up in the bathroom so they can put on their swimsuits. They spend their time getting ready and watching the sun rise, waiting for everybody to finish getting ready.

"Oh, I'm so excited," Chelsea squeals as she does her makeup.

"Baby, what's the point of putting on makeup if we're going to a water park?" Katrina laughs.

"Because I gotta look good!"

"You always look good."

Alice puts in a small pair of studded earrings, a hair tie to fix her hair, and she sets her decorative rings on her night stand. She goes into the bathroom after Bella comes out to put on her swimsuit. When she comes out, she has an oversized shirt covering her swimsuit.

Hannah frowns in disappointment as she walks to the bathroom carrying her own swimsuit. She is the last person to get ready. She feels somewhat uncomfortable with herself as she looks at her body in the bathroom mirror. She frowns, covering her chest with her arms as she comes out of the bathroom staring at her feet.

When she comes out, she hears hollers, and it makes her feel less uncomfortable. In fact, she begins to laugh and blush. She looks up at her friends, who she feels all look prettier than her. And then, she sees Alice, and her face goes red, but not from laughing.

Alice looks beautiful in her black bikini. She has her long hair up in a ponytail and rather than wearing her glasses, she has contact lenses put in. It's the first time Hannah has seen her without glasses, and she has to say, it's not a bad look.

Hannah has always known that Alice is beautiful, but today, she looks the best she's ever looked. She struggles to speak at all as she looks at her girlfriend. And the feeling seems to be mutual, because Alice is staring back at her.

Chelsea is the one to break the silence, "Alright, stop undressing each other with your eyes."

Hannah's eyes bug open, "Uh–"

"We are not," Alice laughs, but her voice is shaky. "Let's go to find Kim."

The girls spend the long drive drinking frozen lemonades and eating bagels that Kimberly was kind enough to buy for them at a cafe. They play Never Have I ever, sing karaoke, and play other road trip games. By the time they arrive at the water park, they've already had the most fun they've had in a long time.

Kimberly stays quiet for the entire car ride, but she isn't bored at all. She finds herself laughing and smiling with every joke or piece of gossip the girls say to each other. She's happy that she was assigned to such a fun, outgoing dorm.

Soon, they arrive at the water park, and as soon as the sign for it is in sight, the girls all squeal in excitement, slapping each other on the arms and clapping.

"We're here!" Kimberly exclaims as she pulls into the water park's parking lot.

"YAY!"

After getting into the park, Kimberly and the girls make a plan of which rides and slides they want to do. Everybody claims how much they want to go on the big, scary slides, but after fifteen minutes of debate, they settle on beginning with the lazy river.

They have a great time over the next couple hours going on slides and getting sunburned, but eventually they become hungry and they head to a restaurant for lunch.

Hannah orders a grilled cheese sandwich, as does Alice. Katrina and Chelsea have a quesadilla and Bella has mozzarella sticks. All of them order their second frozen lemonades of the day.
