A New Critter ✔

Chapter 2

CatNap's POV:

I walked into Playcare with CatNix. She looked up and everywhere in amazement. I walk towards Home Sweet Home, where Poppy, and a repaired Huggy Wuggy, greeted us. Poppy waved " Hey CatNap! Finding a room for our new critter? "  Poppy asked, I nodded " Well, uh I don't know about you guys, but maybe y'all can sleep in the same room~. "  Poppy teased CatNix's Cheeks darkened slightly " Maybe I mean there's two beds in the room. "  I said before walking in the building.

I unlocked my room, and let CatNix in first. She looked around, as the familiar scent of lavender set in. I turned on the lamp that lit up the room a little bit, before sitting in the cat tree I had recently found while exploring around the back of PlayTime. I decided to get some Z's in, so I closed my eyes, and let the scent of lavenders bring me into sleep.

  The Dream : CatNaps POV

Darkness filled my eyes as I opened them, I looked around I was in a tight space, I looked down, and saw the filthy intruder, before looking up.. and seeing the prototype.. I backed away and hissed at it. IT HAD FUCKING KILLED ME. Well almost anyway.. 

It came closer, I looked at it. Soon voices filled the silent room. They got louder and louder, it was hard to see it was hard to hear, I couldn't move the Prototype got closer, I saw DogDays terrified look at the corner of my eye, the voices were calling me.

The Prototype then stabbed my throat, through my mouth, blood ushered out.. everything was a blur.. where am I?

CatNix's POV:

I was calling CatNap's name, desperately trying to awake him, DogDay was also trying to wake him. Suddenly he shot up in fear, CatNap ran away to the closet, and hid in it. DogDay and I cautiously walked towards the closet, before carefully moving things around.

I moved a blanket and found him, he looked up at me with teary eyes. I picked him up, and hugged him " Shh it's okay.. it was just a nightmare. "  I said squeezing him, CatNap wiped away his tears, I let go of him, DogDay put a paw on his shoulder, and smiled warmly.

 I said goodbye to DogDay, and sat on one of the little cat beds in the room. CatNap joined me, but stayed out of the cat bed. I sized down to my plush size to sleep better. " Good night, CatNap.. "  I said stroking his head, and curling up.

DogDay's POV

I walked into my room at Home Sweet Home with worry, what happened to CatNap? What are we gonna do with CatNix? What's gonn-. I was interrupted by CatNap clearing his throat behind me. " Oh hey CatNap! What brings you to Casa De DogDay? "  I asked turning around to face him.

" Can we just talk about something, DogDay? I kinda just wanna discuss about that nightmare.. and CatNix.."  He said walking into the room, we stepped into the small doghouse I had in there, and turned on a lamp in there " So uh, what about that nightmare? " 

" It was about that horrible day when the Prototype tried to kill me.. the intruder didn't electrocute it. It s-stabbed me.. it was so bloody, I felt it, the pain, the blood oozing from my throat.. it was... horrible "  CatNap hid his face in his paws silently sobbing. I put a hand on his shoulder, and pulled him into a hug " It's okay... it was just a nightmare. The prototype is dead. "  I reassured him, CatNap backed away, and wiped away the leftover tears.

" Now about CatNix.. what are we gonna do with her? I mean we can introduce a new Smiling Critter. We'd just have to find what she is to the group. "  CatNap nodded " I mean.. I wanna keep her around.. she seems nice. And it's been so long since we've had another cat critter except for me.. " CatNap said I nodded soon we saw Poppy and CatNix at the door of the room.

CatNap lit up a bit, and ran towards her, I smirked at Poppy as we both knew they at least has some feelings for each other. CatNix smiled at me " Seems like you gave him a little therapy session. "  She said, I nodded and escorted them out " Thanks for coming over! "  I said before walking back in my room and into the doghouse to hopefully pass over my thoughts to my notebook.

CraftyCorn's POV!

I sat in my art room, with CatNix. " Wow Crafty, you're really good at sculpting with clay! "  CatNix said looking at the little clay sculpture of us Smiling Critters, I even included CatNix! " I even put you in there..! Right here next to CatNap! "  I said pointing to it. She looked at it in awe, I looked at her drawing. It was.. a.. an.. apple? " Nice apple drawing! "  She smiled " Thanks! "

I grabbed CatNix's drawing, and hung it up in her own little space, knowing she'll be in here often making her own pieces. I smiled at the space, I didn't realize that DogDay had stepped in. " Hey DogDay! "  I said smiling at him DogDay waved " Hi Crafty! Did you trap CatNix in your art room? "  He said jokingly, I giggled.

CatNix laughed " Probably, I might be in here for awhile. The vibe in here is so calming. Just by crafting up something or just drawing, or even just sitting in here, listening to the radio play nice music, is just amazing. "  I smiled at the compliment at the room.

Sudden Hoppy walked in with Bubba " Hey you two! "  I said " Hello! I'm just here to continue my craft! "  then she hopped over to a shelf and grabbed a orange ball, made from clay " What brings you here Bubbaphant? "  I asked, he pulled out an educational book " Chill, and read up on some science. "  I nodded and looked around the room, then to CatNix. " What are we gonna do about her DogDay? " 

" We'll find out one day, Crafty.. for now let's keep her around "
