"Are you okay?"

I can sense the nerves rolling off Barcode as he follows me to my house. The place is eerily silent as we take the stairs to my bedroom. I sent all my staff home tonight, even the ones who live in my compound because I wanted to make this experience as private and as comfortable for him as possible.

"I'm okay," he whispers from my side but I catch the shakiness in his voice and I am tempted to call this whole thing off.

I know sex relies on emotions and the rightness of the moment and planning it takes the romance potion out of it but I am, if anything, an efficient man.

I like to plan everything to the smallest of details. I don't go into anything blind. I don't do that when I invest in billion dollar corporations, I'll not do that when I take Barcode tonight.

For the past couple of days, I have done all the research I could about this very moment. At some point, I considered not going that route but Barcode has hinted at wanting this many times, and like with every other thing, it's hard to say no to him.

Something about his wide innocent brown eyes makes me want to give him everything.

It's annoying that a stern businessman such as myself can be moved by this doe-eyed brat. The way he brings his mouth to a slight pout when he talks chips at my walls bit by bit. He knows just what to do to send me eating out his hands and fuck, I need to end this arrangement soon before he makes me do something that will cost us both our careers.

There is no going back now.

I've already touched him. I know what his lips taste like and the little sounds he makes when he's at the height of pleasure... I've heard and felt those sounds against my lips.

No, it's too late to go back now.

"The house is too quiet," Barcode whispers when I let us into the master bedroom. "Don't you think it's too early for everyone to be asleep."

"I sent everyone home for the night," I tell him.

"So we're alone?"

"Yes," I say, taking out my phone and tapping rapidly at the screen, and soon, soft guitar melodies fill the otherwise silent room. "Better?"

He shakes his head and grabs my phone. There is a disgusted look on his face as he scrolls through my music list, obviously judging my taste.  "All you have is old people's music," he says, shaking his head as his fingers fly on the screen. "That's the problem with older millennials. You have no taste in music whatsoever."

I ignore the jab and walk to the bed, settling down to watch him. He bites his lips and scrolls rapidly on the phone and when he selects a pop song, I am not even one bit surprised by his choice. He is so predictable, his whole darn generation is.

Fuck!

Just thinking about it sounds wrong. The two of us don't even belong to the same peer group, how the fuck did we find ourselves in this position and yet...

When Barcode walks up to me and boldly climbs into my lap, nothing else matters. We're both adults who've found ourselves attracted to each other and will remain so... at least for the next couple of days.

"You're acting very boldly today," I tell him, wrapping an arm around his waist. "What happened to the shy boy who was always nervous around me?"

"Back then, you looked scary with your sharp eyes and thick brows and tall muscular frame, not to mention the fact that you're older with more money than anyone I've ever met."

"Nothing has changed. I still have all of those things you've mentioned."

"True," he says, rocking his hips gently, his erection rubbing against mine and causing my spine to tingle with pleasure. "It's true that you still have those things I used to find scary but I guess that once you've seen someone naked, they don't seem so scary anymore."

"Oh, you haven't seen me naked yet, kitten."

He sucks in a sharp breath and his eyes grow dazed when I tighten the hand around his waist a second before my mouth slams down on his. His mouth parts in a low whimper that sends me deepening the kiss. In the past few days, we've kissed so many times and in odd places at times but tonight feels different somehow.

The air is charged with electricity that only grows by the second. The way he moans into the kiss, wrapping his arms around my shoulders as our lips dance hungrily over the other.

It's erotic and it feels... forbidden

Everything about this moment feels forbidden and it's for that very reason it feels a hundred times more charged than anything I have done before. It's different with him.

"You know what's happening tonight, right?" I rasp when we break the kiss to breathe. "I am going all the way."

"Yes," he whispers raggedly, licking at his lips. "I want that too. I really really want it Phi."

"Let me know if you want to stop at any moment."

"Please stop talking and kiss me," the brat says and my eyes narrow on him, causing him to blush. "I mean..."

"Don't forget who calls the shots here, Kitten."

"Sorry," he says but I can tell in those mischievous eyes that he is anything but sorry. Still, I indulge him because at this point, I am just a man who can't say no to the brat, and worse, he knows it.

When my lips drop back on his, he meets them with hunger that matches my own. There is something feral about him tonight and I delude myself into believing that I am in control. Even when his fingers drop to my shirt and he starts undoing them impatiently, I still lie to myself that I can control what happens tonight.

It seems all that planning was for nothing when dealing with someone as unpredictable as Barcode. One moment he is a shy little thing who lets me take the lead and the next he is a fireball, leaving a storm of heat everywhere he touches.

I can only hope that when the flames die down, the damage will be minimal.
