Dayna
The talent show is tomorrow! I'm so excited, nobody is ready for what we got in store. Though most of the time I was with my girls practicing, I still made time for my baby Chris. Well we made time for each other since we're both in the talent show.
Speaking of Chris, I was with him right now. We were with Carti and Maya at the park. We watched as they ran around with each other.
"So.. you ready for the talent show tomorrow?" Chris said breaking the silence between us.
"Kinda, I don't know. I'm a little nervous." I responded.
"Why?"
"I haven't performed in front of a crowd before. What if I mess up?" I sighed.
"You're going to fine, even though you're coming in second place." Chris said laughing.
I playfully hit him and joined in with the laughter.
"Naw but seriously though, yall are really talented. Which ever way it goes, I'll be happy with the outcome." Chris stated.
I nodded in agreement and look out at Carti & Maya again. Maya was sitting on the swing and Carti was pushing her. He was struggling a little, but it was adorable. I took a quick picture and smiled.
I looked over at Chris and he was just staring at me.
"What? Is there something on my face?" I asked wiping my face off.
Chris laughed,moved my hand,and kissed it.
"I can't stare at my girlfriend?" He asked.
I blushed at the sound of him calling me his girlfriend. It felt so surreal.
"You can.."
"You're so beautiful Dayna.. I'm so happy that you're finally mine. You don't know how long I've wanted you."
"How long?"
"Since freshman year." I looked at him in shock.
He's wanted me for two years and never said anything?
"I know what you're thinking,but I was afraid to approach you. It's just something about you that makes me so nervous. But I'm glad I got the courage to even talk to you. You make me so happy, it's crazy. We haven't been together long but I know I want to be with you for a long time."
I didn't even know what to say. This whole time I thought he wasn't interested in me, but he was just as shy about the situation as I was.
"Chris you make me nervous too.. I've liked you since freshman year also, but I never thought you'd go after a girl like me. I mean I'm not the most popular, I didn't even know that you noticed me. Now that I got you, I never wanna let you go. I've never been as happy as I am when I'm with you. You make me feel special."
"That's because you are special." He said before pulling me into a kiss.
"My sissy is sucking your brother face off!!!" I heard Carti said.
I pulled away from Chris and burst out laughing. Chris joined in with me and Carti made a face.
"What's funny?" He asked.
"Nothing Carti, you hungry?" I asked him as he looked at Chris and I.
" No sissy, but I'm sleepy." He said wiping his eyes.
"You wanna go home?" I asked gathering our stuff.
"Can Maya come???" He asked me.
I looked at Maya and she was looking at Chris and I with puppy dog eyes.
"Yeah can I come? Pwease Cwissy?" She asked and I couldn't help but smile. She was so adorable.
"Yeah Cwissy pwease?" Carti said looking at Chris.
Chris started rubbing his chin as if he was thinking and turned towards me.
"It's okay with me Cwissy." I said trying to sound like Carti and Maya." Chris started laughing and nodded his head.
"Fine. You sleepy too?" Chris asked her.
She nodded and reached out her arms so Chris can pick her up. He picked her up and grabbed their things. I picked up Carti and we headed to Chris car.
We strapped them in and then we proceeded to the front seat. Chris started the car and we headed towards my house. I turned up the radio and "679" by Fetty Wap came on.
"Carti your song is on." I said turning to look at him. I looked at him and he was knocked out. I looked at Maya and she was sleep too.
"I guess they really were sleepy" Chris said laughing.
I laughed along and listened to the song as I looked out the window.
Soon enough we pulled up to my house and we took Maya and Carti inside. Once they were settled in, we went outside and sat on the patio.
Chris
"Wassup with Brandon though?" Dayna asked once we settled on the patio.
"What you mean?" I asked playing dumb.
"Does he like Lo or not? He's the only one who hasn't stepped up and got his girl."
I laughed and she looked at me.
"He's like her for sure. I guess he's just trying to figure out how to ask her..." I trailed off.
"You know don't you?" She asked me.
"What ever are you talking about?" I said trying to act clueless.
She smacked my arm and I laughed.
"Look all I'm going to say is, she's in for a surprise tomorrow." I said as I got up.
"Where you going?" She asked me.
"To go to sleep, Cwissy sleepy." I said laughing and walking in the house.
She laughed to and trailed behind me as we headed to her room.
I laid on her bed and she laid next to me. I pulled her closer and wrapped my arms around her. She put her head on my chest and drifted off to sleep.
I snapped a quick picture and looked down at her.
"You're so beautiful baby." I whispered to her. She was fast asleep but she started smiling. I wondered what she was dreaming about.
I kissed her forehead and decided it was time for me to go to sleep too.

Sorry for the wait but I was stuck lol. And my birthday just passed at the end of the July , a young nigga finally 17 lol, and I go back to school Thursday (Senior year ayee) so I'll try to squeeze some updates in before then. Talent show coming up soon..
