HUMID FOREST
A vast forest that appeared incredibly lumpy and was deemed an unstable area; this is where Deacon Blake had located a certain instrument vital to the plan of the Aris Church.
The dark-skinned Taoist touched the lumpy ground with a blue piece of paper.
"Reveal," as he said this, the paper vanished, and the entire area began to change.
The lumpy ground changed form and started to look more like a dilapidated gray castle with the statue of the mystical bird, the 'Roc,' on it.
"So this is the Roc castle, the artifact said to amplify the powers of a key of apocalypse? Hmph, I thought it would look fancier, but what, Bishop Marcus will certainly promote me for finding it," Blake smiled and adjusted his glasses.
He then rubbed his chin and thought, ("How do I actually get this entire castle out of here? Could my teleport talisman work on something this big?") Before he could finish that thought, however, a dark aura could be felt approaching him, and he quickly went into a defensive pose.
"Here!" A being covered in orange flames charged at him and tried to punch him in the face; however.
"Air wall!" Using the skill he stole from Edward previously, Blake was able to defend against the powerful fire attack. "Who are you?!"
The being chuckled as a singular bright blue horn grew out from his forehead, and the flames around him disappeared. "I'm the one that's going to beat you half to death!" The being shouted.
Blake could literally smell the demonic aura coming from the individual, so he backed away drew two red talismans, and shouted. "Hear my call, king of thunder, Queen of lightning! Familiars of nature!" A blue wolf and a yellow wolf appeared from the talismans as they burnt, and the wild animals attacked the horned individual.
"I don't know who you are, but anyone who gets in the way of me and the church gets buried six feet under!"
The wolves charged at the enemy; the blue one howled ferociously, the force alone driving the demon backward; the yellow one used its incredible speed to blitz the demon and bite off a piece of flesh from his left arm... However.
The arm quickly healed back, and the demon smiled, "Is that it? I thought the cult had stronger lackeys!"
Blake hissed, "Kill the fool! Raging thunderbolt!" As he said this, the two wolves combined into one with striped yellow and blue fur, it was a lot bigger now, and it attempted to land a powerful electric roar on the demon.
The demon rushed the gigantic wolf and pointed his right hand at it. "I'm still not used to using this... But here goes...."
"Ignite!"
A huge explosion of flames occurred and engulfed the entire wolf in brilliant red flames, destroying it.
The demon fell to the ground, his right hand burnt, but it was healing gradually, "God-damned magic!"
Blake was amazed and terrified at the same time; he had never seen such wild magic before, and the way it worked solely for destruction was insane... He wanted it.
"Impressive, that's some firepower... I didn't know I was in the presence of such a powerful demon, allow me to introduce myself... I am Deacon Blake, of the treasure division; now then, who are you truly?" Blake asked again.
"I told you, I'm the one that's...." Before the demon could finish, a loud voice echoed from behind him.
"Sir Remi!" This voice belonged to the hefty monk known as Edward Anderson.
