Rascal put on the badge, and then, he became much shorter, and his multicolored hair became neatly combed purple hair. He wore a blue sweater with a black cat on it. His ears were no longer pointy, and had two cat-shaped earrings in them. In place of his mask, were black rectangular glasses. "So, I guess you're a cat lover." Rascal paid no attention to her. All he could do was admire himself in the mirror. He never knew that he could fit in when he was in a world where he was something to be feared.
Then he removed the badge and looked at himself in the mirror again. With this badge he didn't see himself, but a stranger. Someone who was exactly like him, but not him. Was this the right choice? He looked at Chloe and then at the floor. "I don't know if this is right." Chloe realized how hard this must have been for him. He hadn't done anything like this before. "You don't have to do this. It was selfish of me to try and pull you away from who you are." Then Rascal had made his decision.
"Can we get a second one for Nogo?"
