It was a cool October morning. A Friday morning. That night, Rascal and Chloe would run around and have fun that was dangerous at times, but wonderful nonetheless. School had been canceled for some unknown reason. (It had something to do with a pipe.)
"Ow! You're hurting me!" Rascal ran around the room while Sylvain nipped at his feet. "Not until you stop this nonsense and get this thing off of my head!" Sylvain was not at all like your average house cat. When people saw the flame-shaped crystal on his forehead, they thought it was a scab. And when he heard this he started screaming "THIS IS NOT A SCAB!" That would get him a dirty look, so he immediatley pretended to be a normal cat. His loyalty never ended. His courage never faltered, and he never stopped yelling at Rascal. That was what lead him to bite at his ankles that day. Rascal, unfortunately, had his mother's temper and shook his leg violently. Sylvain flew across the room and nearly hit Nogo in the head. "What the fu-" Sylvain flashed Nogo a dirty look. "Hell. I meant hell. Anyway, you wouldn't mind if I came with you tonight, would you? I just wanna make sure nothing crazy happens."
Nothing crazy happened that night, with the exception of one. At about midnight, Candy randomly showed up. The moment he saw her, Nogo's face lit up. He grabbed the little pixie and held her close to his chest. As he squealed in pure delight, Candy began to panic. "Put me down! You're squishing me!" Nogo's ears began to droop as he reluctantly put Candy down. He had clearlyforgotten his own size and strength, and his somewhat intimidating appearance did not help.
Candy ran over to Rascal and jumped onto his head. "Why is he so mean?" Rascal looked at his brother, who was trying his hardest not to cry. "He's not mean, he just tends to forget what he's capable of." Candy looked at Nogo judgmentally. "Well his earrings hurt if they hit you. How does he wear them without breaking his neck?" Nogo laughed a little and looked up at Candy. "Do you wanna really see how heavy they are?" She slowly moved toward Nogo and held out her hands as he removed one of his earrings and dropped it in her hands. Candy observed it thoughtfully before Nogo spoke. "I got these from my mother when I was eight years old." A small tear fell down his cheek. "Do you want to know what some humans believe about amethyst? They think it's a healing stone." Candy glanced at Rascal before looking at Nogo innocently. "Where is your mother now?" Nogo gave a sorrowful look. "She's...no longer with us." Candy looked up sadly. "My mom's gone too." Nogo couldn't help but shed a tear, knowing that he had sort of caused this.
This is the most I've changed a chapter from its original Scratch Version to Wattpad. I'm also caught up with the OG version now.
Don't sue if you cried. This was meant to be a tear jerker.
