Aella was at driftmark with her family together as she knew they always should be, the girl was now twenty and two. Even her family knew she should have been married by now, they cannot put it off any longer than they already have. It was said that when Aella Velaryon was born the waves clashed together with the rocks, almost as if trying to announce the babes coming.
Aella always was strong headed no one could ever get her to do anything, she did not want to do. But even she knew that she would have to marry & the time is now if not for love than for the duty of her house and she would rather it be her than her siblings.

"father says you are to be married soon."Laenor huffs, crossing his arms, Aella turned to her father."did he now? have you seen Otto Hightower? Hand of the king laenor?"she asks him.
"yes I have, sister."He answered.
"yes brother well it is said that he is making claim to marry me, so i shall reside here for the rest of my days."Aella said, laenor face turned disgusted."father is it true? does Ella have to marry the hand?"Laenor asks their father.
"no my son that cunt won't go anywhere your sister."their father spoke firmly, their mother appeared with Laena in hand."ah my little sister!."Aella beamed taking her out of her mother's hands.
"Corlys you should not curse in front of them."Their mother told him, Laena smiled brightly at her big sister."you know I'm only nine years old."she huffs.
"well now I do your my little sister and in a few years I won't be able to hold you."Aella smiled, Laena wrapped her arms around her sister."I want you two to know that I shall do my duties so that you won't have to, I will always protect you two no matter what."Aella tells them.
"we know sister, I shall protect you too."Laenor adds, Aella smiled letting her sister down before going to speak to their parents."mother, father I shall need to ask you both what would happen shall laenor have kids in the future I am the heir to Driftmark now —"she stops.
"I know I am not a boy you two wished for a boy to be the eldest, I am sorry I am not that but —"Aella looked at her parents, her mother had a soft look on her face."my sweet girl you think I care whether or not you are a boy? we do not care you are heir to driftmark! then your kids after them —"Rhaenys placed a kiss to her daughters cheek.
