The taxi ride was almost silent, except the sound of Jamie eating his cookies. I didn't understand why he made them, I mean it's not like you can take them on the plane.
It was 3:00 pm by the time we got to the airport, thanks to traffic. We still had two hours until the flight, so we went past security, and sat on the chairs outside the plane entrance thing.
"Plane to England now boarding" said the lady of the speaker. She said it in like four different languages, English, Russian, Chinese and some other language I didn't recognise. We boarded the plane and almost instantly once I sat down I fell asleep. I woke around half an hour later and watched gossip girl. The trip was plain, nothing exciting, but there was a guy that didn't take his eyes off the back of my hoodie. I thought it strange, and it made me uncomfortable but I didn't think much of it.
The plane landed and the boys and I got off. The airport was around four hours drive from the boarding school, so we got a taxi.
The boys had gotten jobs as errand boys for the headmistress, so they would have dorms close enough to me.A black car with blacked out windows drove up to us, at first I was sceptic but then some one stepped out.
"Mum?" I stared at the women with thick blonde hair and green eyes. She wore a black coat and black/grey shoes.
"This is Amber Fell" said Matt shaking the hand of the gloved woman.
"Your mothers sister" continued Jamie.
I couldn't believe the resemblance. This woman look around ten years older than my mother had when i last saw her photo, which was taken the day of my birth.
I didn't understand, how could someone look so much alike to someone else.
the woman looked down at me with sorrow lacing her eyes.
"You look exactly like her" she said covering her mouth and wiping her tears that rolled out of her eyes. Unlike she had done with the boys, she pulled me into a hug, which took me by surprise, as I hardly know this person, although I felt like I had known her for all my life.
"As you may not know your Aunty is the deputy headmistress" said one of the boys. I was to lazy to figure out which one and plus I had just found a long lost or to what I thought a few minutes ago non existent aunt.
* * * * * *
We had driven from the airport, completely forgetting about the taxi we had called for, to the school. So far I had only seen part of the front garden and around the back. It was a completely brick school, and to be honest it resembled the school from he movie wild child, inside and out. It had a front courtyard, with beautiful lush green grass, and I mean what do you expect, it's raining more than half the year, here. I had been shown to the head mistresses office which was basically a massive library.
'Like i said 'wild child'' I thought to myself. The whole journey here, the boys were silent. They didn't let out a word. But they did keep looking at me.
After having a very brief look around (literally just the hallway to the headmistress office) we sat down and had some tea, or in my case coffee. My aunt and I kept talking and talking. Well she did most of the talking I just asked questions, mostly about my mum, and she answered.
After around an hour and a half Amber and I began to discuss with the boys some more business related things.
"So contrary to what I said earlier, you boys can not legally work for us." She said. Placing down her teacup, with a disappointed glance at the boys.
"But I did manage to persuade the headmistress to give you both free entries to the school. And although the headmistress is gone for a year on a school trip, and I am in charge, does not mean you can step out of line." She said firmly. One thing I have learnt about my aunt is that she will always be fair and give a second chance to those who deserve it, but in this case she could only stretch her position's capabilities so far.A knock from the door echoed through the room.
"Ah, Annabeth, come in" Amber said. Gesturing towards the door. And as she did so a girl with brown perfectly waved hair, tan/olive skin that puts professional fake tans to shame, and eyes... well her eyes were the colour of Poop. Yes I said it poop. There is no poetic way to explain the colour brown. She was wearing a sky blue button up shirt, navy blue short high waisted skirt, black stockings, black shoes and a yellow and navy diagonally stripped tie.
"Annabeth, yes, I'm glad you came, I need you to show Zarina the ropes of the school." She said swiftly. The girl nodded and walked over to me, she held out he hand and greeted me '' hi, as you've probably figured out I'm Annabeth, but most people call me Beth''
I took her hand and shook it
" and as you've probably noticed I am Zarina." I said smiling at her and taking my hand back. I looked questioningly at my aunt which she replied with.
"Beth will be showing you around the school, she will stay with you for you first few days until you get used to it." My aunt said then looked back at Beth and spoke " do you know if drake wants to give us the pleasantry of his company today" she asked sarcasm practically dripping from her tongue. That's another thing I love about my Aunt, she knows how to have a laugh.
"Well, it's drake, and it's five thirty" She said.rolling her eyes as she said it, as if she knows to much of what drake is actually doing.
"Well like you said it is five thirty and classes don't start until nine." She said. A massive wave of relief washed over me when she aid classes start at nine, because I have a lot of sleeping to catch up on.
"Rina, you will find you uniform on your bed, but as for you boys, you won't need one just yet because I have to fill out some paper work yet."Beth and I left. Whilst making our way to my dorm we heard a thudding of footsteps. They sounded like they were running. With one look Beth and I hid in a small but big enough to fit both of us in it cupboard. We were looking through a small crack in the door and then the thing making all the noise revealed its self or should I say himself. He was tall, tan, well built, dirty blonde/brown hair, glistening brown eyes.
Jumping out of the cupboard Beth practically shouted " gawd drake, your late. Miss fell want you in there now!!'' Pointing towards the direction we both had just came. I slowly step out of the cupboard and out from behind beth.
"Thanks Beth," he said pausing for a bit and then turning his gaze towards me,"aren't you going to introduce us Beth?" He asked holding out his hand in a manner of wanting to kiss it. But being the stuck up person I am I smirk put my head at his level and say smugly "don't fake being prince charming because half your buttons are undone, your hair is messed up and you have lipstick on you jaw." Once he had a stunned look on his face I continued "just there," I pointed on my jaw and he immediately attempted to wipe it off. I laughed and looked at Beth asking " weren't you showing me to my dorm before we were rudely interrupted?"I inwardly laughed at my own sarcasm and then walked with Beth further done the hall.
Once we were out of ear shot I sighed. "Beth? I thought this was a school for only girls." I said realising that's what it said on the email. I looked towards Beth in anticipation, when she finally replied with" it was until like five years ago when it transferred to both gender, I heard the school wasn't getting enough enrolments and that's why they changed it." She said in one long breath and then breathed in before she died. I had a feeling we were going to get along great. "I liked what you said to drake" she said "a girl hasn't turned him up in to long" smirking she opened the dorm room door. Inside was two double beds, one with covers and one without. Half the room was almost completely white the other half was decorated to the T with stuff from typo and cotton on things.
