"Alright, I heard ya the first time you started squealing at me ya piece of shite" Jamie cursed as he pressed buttons and flicked switches to quieten the multiple alarms going off in front of him.

"Computer run a system-wide diagnostic scan of the whole ship, something is not happy today," Jaime instructed as he started to fix the alarms himself.

"Scanning" a computerized female voice responded.

Since arriving on TB5 6 weeks ago Jamie had felt watched, everywhere he went like someone was looking over his shoulder.

But how could they? All the airlocks required approval from the control hub on Tracy Island to open so no one could sneak about. And he was 100% certain no one came up with the supplies sent from the island.

So what was it?

Curious, he scanned the whole ship looking for life signs—nothing but his own.

"Diagnostic scan complete." The computer responded.

"Results?" Jamie asked looking at the console.

"No faults diagnoseable. Fault diagnostic unit damaged." The computer answered.

"Right ok then. Time to ruin Calum's morning by requesting new parts." Jamie sighed and pressed the call button to Calum's workbench com unit.

"Connection can not be established, error with communication circuits." The computer responded.

"Oh for the love of- right ok. Just sort the communication circuits and then tell Calum about the issue with the diagnostic unit." Jamie told himself before going to grab his helmet and an oxygen tank.

"Computer open inner airlock door" Jamie ordered.

"Opening the inner airlock door" The computer replied.

Jamie stepped into the airlock chamber and the door automatically sealed behind him, he adjusted his helmet and double-checked his air quantity, just over an hour of air, it was just a simple check of a circuit and a repair if he had the time, should be more than enough.

"Computer, depressurize the airlock" Jamie ordered, sure enough, the airlock depressurized and Jamie floated for a second. "Open the outer airlock door"

Sure enough, the door opened and then closed itself behind Jamie who decided to just float for a moment before getting back to work.

"Right then, get this sorted, and then bug Calum about all of this" he sighed.

"Eh?" Jamie asked confused "All circuits and systems are fully functional"

"Thunderbird 5 to base, come in base," Jamie called out down the com unit.

"Base here, what's up Thunderbird 5?" Eve asked as she appeared in hologram form on Jamie's wrist.

"Send Calum and Eliza up here, my systems are going nuts, one minute saying they're fully functional, the next not working or going haywire" he explained.

"Weird, I'll patch you through to his workbench, standby," Eve responded.

"Standing by" Jamie sighed.

"Yes?" Calum asked, this time it was audio only.

"Hey my systems are going nuts, anything to do with the new tech you put in or am I going crazy?" Jamie asked sarcastically.

"Have you tried turning it off & on again?" Calum asked back in an equally sarcastic tone.

"This isn't just a frozen screen or a faulty airlock, this is something bigger, I haven't received any distress calls in nearly an hour, something is up" Jamie responded, he was done with the sarcasm now.
