"Heads up international rescue, we have a busy morning" Jamie announced in hologram form.
"I just wanted 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep without some idiot getting lost in a sea cave" Eve whined walking in.
"Well tough, you'll have to settle for 5 and a bit, now listening, we all have a situation" Eliza ordered.
"Felix, two climbers trapped in high winds on Everest, need a speedy response and a toasty ship to fly them to the nearest hospital" Jamie informed.
"F.A.B. This will be a good time to test out Calum's speed upgrades" Felix grinned and ran to launch.
"Brick, an earthquake-triggered cave-in has caught out a group of geology students and two professors, they need heavy lifting gear and an expert in search and rescue as the group were split up at the time," Jamie told Brick.
"Tell them to do a head count and once they find someone stick with them," Brick replied as he disappeared.
"Captain, a space station has reported mass engine failure and may be falling out of orbit soon, you'll need to tow them back to orbit and help them repair the ship" Jamie informed.
"Understood, tell them to get into their space suits and prepare for an emergency evacuation, if I can't save the station I can at least save the crew," Eliza responded while grabbing a small toolbox.
"Call if you need a hand with the engines" Calum shouted up.
"Calum I'll need your help with something else" Jamie responds.
"Right ok" Calum responded sceptical.
"Eve, there have been reports of a fishing boat getting into difficulty in the north sea, nets are caught on something miles below the sea, you may need to cut the nets and repair some of the boat" Jamie instructed.
"F.A.B." Eve replied heading over to launch.
"Jessie, a superjet was stolen from a privet collection in Russia, with the owner's wife and young child on board, you have the skills and know how to get in, locate the jet and rescue the two hostages on board," Jamie instructed.
"Permission to kick some ass?" Jessie asked turning to Eliza.
"Only in self-defence" Eliza warned. Jessie nodded and ran off to launch.
"Calum, I'll need your help with this," Jamie started as he pulled up a hologram of a satellite. "It's been offline and it controls the global floodgate network, can you walk me through the repairs?" Jamie asked.
"Piece of cake" Calum replied with a smirk.
"I'll keep an eye on monitor duty with the help of EOS, please try and come back in one piece this time, I don't fancy stitching any more limbs back on" Ivy informed.
"Thanks, Ivy, Jamie, you and Calum focus on that satellite, any questions?" Eliza asked. This was the exact point they all decided to voice what was on their mind, all at once.
"That one was rhetorical, call base if you need help but there is no chance of backup being available," Eliza warned.
During Eliza's brief preflight checks, Felix decided he had something to say.
"Be careful, Captain," Felix told her quietly.
Eliza smiled at this "you too Bigfoot" she replied with a small smile, not that he'd see.
Eve was also running a few pre-mission checks herself when Brick called out to her over the radio.
"Hey Eve, stay safe ok?" He asked he sounded a little nervous about this particular mission.
