Juliet wanted her dad.

She wanted her dad to come and give her a big warm hug like he used when she was a baby, she wanted Apollo to sing to her a lullaby and stop her crying. She wanted her fucking dad, immediately.

"Juliet, Percy had been missing, Augustus and Annabeth are looking for him."

It was as if the fates hated her or something, she must've been a really loathsome being to end up in the dilemmas the fates put up for her. Because everyone important in her life was missing, gone and she was lonely everywhere she went. She was lonely in Elysium and she was lonely in the mortal world and she would be fucking lonely in every single corner of this world.

"Juliet," she looked up from her lost staring at her bedsheets, apparently her bunk hadn't been used and had been left untouched, Will had sadly told her that Percy slept in her bunk too often for it to be given to another cabin. Juliet didn't comment on how Nico had lied to her face and told her Percy had been doing fine, because everybody she asked told her Percy had been going through hell. Her eyes found Lee standing by the cabin doorway with a sympathetic look, "Chiron has sent the letter to Adam like you asked,"

Juliet gave him a teary smile, Lee had filled her in about the divorce scandal Cordelia and Adam had went through before parting ways, apparently Adam had moved back to Queens and had been the only one to attend Juliet's funeral. Despite already knowing how much of a bitch her mom was, it still stung that she never even came to her daughter's funeral.

"Thanks," She spoke lowly, voice scratchy from all the crying she had been doing in the past time. "I'm gonna go out for a walk."

Lee looked at her in concern but nodded, letting Juliet walk out as she headed towards the beach. The beach was the closest thing to Percy and her dad, and right now Juliet needed those people the most in her life.

She passed the Aphrodite cabin, there was absolute chaos going on there, soon Piper walked out of the cabin and stopped when she spotted Juliet by the entrance, "Oh hey,"

"Hey," Juliet gave a small smile, "What's going on? There seems to be a lot of yelling going on,"

"When is there not yelling going on?" Piper rolled her eyes and Juliet's smile turned uncomfortable, she'd never met...such a hostile daughter of Aphrodite. Sure Drew and Silena were forces to be reckoned with, they were both beautiful bombshells but they never gave off such highly aggressive energy.

"Uh...I was just checking in, I have quite a bond with this cabin," Juliet awkwardly replied and almost took a step back at the slight offended look Piper was giving her, just as the daughter of Aphrodite was about speak the cabin doors were opened again as Drew stomped out, she had a murderous look in her eyes but it soon melted away as she spotted Juliet.

"Hey, Julie," Drew moved forward to hug the girl but Juliet stepped away with a disappointed glance, she'd given the girl training, she'd helped Drew attend drawing lessons and to see the girl become so shallow all of a sudden made her unhappy.

"Hello, Drew," Drew looked like someone had sucker punched her, she glanced at Piper who looked too smug to be there, "I've heard of what you have been upto,"

Drew's expression hardened, her posture stiffening as she crossed her arms defensively. "And what exactly have you heard?" she snapped, her tone laced with irritation.

Juliet didn't flinch, meeting Drew's gaze with a steely resolve. "I've heard about the way you've been treating others, about the rumors you've been spreading," she replied evenly, her voice tinged with disappointment. "You used to be better than this, Drew."

Drew's jaw tightened, her eyes flashing with anger. "And who are you to judge me?" she retorted, her voice rising. "You weren't there when we needed you Juliet,"

Juliet scoffed, a disbelieving laugh spilling out of her as she stepped forward, Drew took a step back guiltily, "Oh I'm sorry, sorry of fucking dying, to protect you all, sorry that I was stabbed and bled to death, sorry that I wasn't there for you because I was dead!"

There was a deafening silence for moment before Drew gulped and turned away, "I-I"m leaving," she muttered, her voice barely audible.

Juliet only glared at the retreating girl before walking away to the beach, Piper made way to follow her ready to say something when Juliet snapped out, "Don't follow me,"

Piper watched the girl walk away, huffing in irritation at Juliet's attitude before leaving herself.

The beach was on of the best places in the entire camp, Juliet loved it, right from the moment she had stepped foot on the camp she loved it. Maybe it was because of Patroclus's soul inside her or maybe it was the way sunlight always found its way near the beach, but Juliet loved it regardless. And she needed ample sunlight to call her dad, because fuck she really needed a hug.

With her feet dipped I the water, she let hr fingers thread through the beams of sunlight, the sunshine forming a halo on her head, she whispered quick prayers to her dad before finally uttering, "Dad, can you please come here,"

"It feels like a decade since you called me," She felt his warmth before he even was there, tears welled up in Juliet's eyes when she turned and found her dad seated by her side, his eyes looked haunted, the blue wasn't Bahamas anymore it felt like ice, and his usually golden hair looked like it had lost it's sparkle but the sheer relief and fondness in his face was enough for Juliet to start sobbing.

Apollo wrapped his arms around Juliet, pulling her close as she cried. His presence brought a sense of comfort and warmth, soothing her troubled heart.

"Oh, my dear Juliet," Apollo murmured, his voice soft and gentle. "I'm here, I'm always here for you."

Juliet buried her face in his chest, letting out all the pent-up emotions she had been holding inside. Apollo held her tightly, his hand gently stroking her hair as he whispered soothing words of reassurance.

"I know it's been hard, sunshine," Apollo said, his own voice pained. "It's been so hard."

Juliet nodded, and she knew she knew he wasn't just talking about her, it must've been hard for him too. Juliet wasn't the only kid he had lost in battle, he'd lost many of his children, he'd lost family and he'd been enduring it too. He was a good but there was only so much pain a being could take.

"I'm here for you," Juliet mumbled out, looking up at her father with teary eyes, making the god laugh in disbelief as he pulled her in a hug again, "You were always to selfless, you don't need to be here for me, sunshine, but I'm here for you."

Juliet nodded in the hug, letting her father untangle the golden locks of her hair, "I'm always here for you Juliet," his voice turned ominous, "Even if it goes against the very fibre of my being,"

Juliet was too far sad and comfortable in his arms to comprehend the hidden meaning of his words as she just clutched onto her father, letting his warmth lull her to the comfort she needed in her life. There were only two arms she had ever felt home in, and the first one would always be her father's no matter how broken and jaded the god himself was.

𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞! not gonna lie, I lowkey shed a tear or two writing this, I think it was probably the classical music playing in the background but yeah this chapter is the only one I have ever written that makes me emo. I didn't even cry when Juliet died.
