Julia could not believe it, she had only booked one room. She could've sworn she booked two separate rooms. "First big task you get and you fuck it up, congrats", she said in her mind disappointed in herself.

She had tried everything to reserve another room but there was no use. It was the biggest and best hotel in Paris and it was fully booked. She didn't even know how to begin to tell Alex. Although she did have at least another 5 hours to tell him.

She had got up and sat somewhere out of Alex's view to think over how she would break this news to him. After about 2 minutes of her sitting alone, she heard shuffling from a couple rows in front of her and then suddenly the silhouette of Alex was towering over her. His once tightly tied tie was now loosened around his neck and the first couple buttons of his shirt were open.

"May I join you?", he asked gesturing to the seat opposite Julia.
Julia, trying to keep her cool said: "Err yeah of course".
He sat down and leaned forward his elbows on the small table between them.
"So..what was all that confusion and panicking a few moments ago? On your phone.", he asked getting straight to the point.
"Oh, you noticed that, huh?", she took a deep breath.
"I did", he said looking at her through his eyebrows, looking threatening but his tone neutral.
"Hah, kinda funny if you think about it. But...um.. I was double checking our reservation and, well there was only one room booked", she said waiting for his wrath.
"Did you call them?".
"Yeah. I did".
"No rooms I'm guessing. Did you tell them who I am?", he said after a while.
"Yeah. Alex I tried everything, they said they can offer you a refund but that's all they can do. Although they were quite shocked when they heard the room was for you. I'm so sorry for this situation, I really didn't mean it, I feel so stupid", she hid her face in her hands just knowing he's mad.

Alex watched Julia spiral. He found it quite amusing, but he didn't like seeing her like this. He was annoyed and angry inside but he decided to go soft on her.
"Hey, Julia", he said as soft as he could (which wasn't very soft but it was an attempt). He tapped her hand, "I will be able to sort something out when we land. They will listen to me".
Julia stifled a laugh at his cockiness and she retracted her hands showing her face again.

She couldn't believe it was actually Alex being nice to her for once, but she couldn't help but feel it wouldn't last. They sat together for a while before Julia decided she wanted a quick nap, and she lay on the leather couch near the back of the jet. Alex looked up from his laptop and watched her walk to the sofa at the back.

After Julia settled down on the sofa and closed her eyes, Alex got up from their seats and headed for the bar, not for a dink but to get a bit of space. He wasn't happy that after this long flight he would have to fight with the hotel staff for another room. But he thought he would just be able to flash his cash and get a room in no time.

    1hr later:
The light rustling of Julia waking up could be heard from the back of the plane. Her hair was a bit messy so she went to the bathroom to fix it up. Alex, from his seat, watched her wake up. For the past hour he tried to get some work done but his mind kept wandering to the beautiful woman at the back of the plane he couldn't have. He refused to act on his feelings, it would ruin her.

Julia woke up a half hour later, her hair a bit of a mess. She got up and headed for the bathroom. In the bathroom, Julia fixed her hair and makeup in the mirror. She was glad she wore comfortable-ish clothes cause she really needed that nap. When she came out she went to Alex to check if he needed anything.

"You're awake.", Alex said as Julia walked up to him.
"Yeah, I really needed that nap", replied Julia. "How long do you reckon is left of the flight?", she added.
"I'd say 2 hours, maybe longer", he told her.
Julia sighed and swept down her shirt, "Okay, that's fine. Would you like anything? Food? Drinks?".
"I'll take a tall glass of ...you", he said while winking suggestively.
"What?"
"Julia, I want you. Right here. Right now", he said smirking.
He got up from his seat and swiftly grabbed her waist pulling her closer, placing his other hand on her jaw. She could feel his hot breath on her neck. Julia's breath hitched and she put her hands on his jaw. The two were so close, his breath in hers. Alex was looking at Julia hungrily, like he was about to devour her. But then he suddenly began shaking her subtly but she could feel it, she didn't know what was going on.

"....wake up, wake up Julia"
She quickly sat up to face the voice, it was Alex. But wait what was that-. Julia looked up at him, he was towering over her while she sat on the couch. It was a dream. He looked down at her, wondering why she had a look of disappointment plastered on her face.
"Julia, we are landing in about 30 minutes. You need to get ready", he said finally.
She sat up trying to act composed (failing to do so), flattening her shirt. "Of course, sorry I just had a dream about...", she trailed off. "You can't tell him that omg."
"Never mind", she said smiling up at him.
Alex looked unbothered, "Can you get me a coffee if you don't mind?"
"Oh of course. Black no sugar right?", she asked to be sure.
He replied with a curt nod.

Julia got up and walked away to grab his coffee, still flustered from that dream. It felt so real and so intimate. She never fantasised about him like that before, although she did have a 'slight' crush on him. It never intruded her thoughts and dreams before. It could become a problem in the near future...
