Adriana's POV
Two more days of freedom is all I have. I wish I could just run away but I know I would be found. Im trying my best not to completely hate Alessio because these may be the last few days I have with him.
I am being ordered to pick a wedding dress, flowers, cake, and decor. Most brides are ecstatic for this "magical" time in their life. I feel like my life is being stolen, how fun. Definitely not how I wanted to spend my last few days of freedom.
Mr. Valentino sent a driver to my house. He allowed Alessio to attend with me. This is not how I pictured my dress fitting to be. I always thought I would have my best friends with me, I haven't said a word to them, for their protection of course. Most girls would have their mother, mine passed away when I was young. I miss her everyday and I miss Papa just the same.
I tried on a few dresses when I found the ONE. A long beautiful lacy v-neck that hugged my curves and flared at the bottom. Although it all felt really pointless. I was going to be miserable and it didn't matter what I was wearing. I stepped out of the suite to get Alessio's approval.
"Bellissima principessa." He said as tears strolled down his cheeks.
"You think so?" I looked down at myself, picking at the price tag.
"Absolutely, is this the one?"
"Alessio... it's $9,000?!" I whispered starting to panic.
It felt weird worrying about money this was a first for me, I was ready to pick something cheaper to alleviate Alessio's stress.
"It's no problem, if this is the one. It's yours."
As Alessio tried to convince me the price was okay, the bridal shop worker walked in.
"Ma'm price is not an issue, Mr. Valentino stated there is no budget and he will be footing the bill."
"What a gentleman" I said as I rolled my eyes.
I returned to the suite and stripped from the dress. The bridal shop worker carefully put the beautiful dress in a velvet garment bag and we left the shop.
Alessio's POV
I was fully prepared to pay for that dress even with all the money problems. I would do anything to try to make her as happy as I can given the circumstance, it's the least I could do. I couldn't help tearing up knowing these are the last memories I will have with my little sister.
Adri ended up picking out beautiful greenery, white roses, gold enhancements, black table cloths, candles and a bunch of other things I know nothing about. I know she wishes her friends were here but I've tried to help as much as possible. It all looks so classy, she has done a great job, I hope Romeo will be pleased.
