Chapter 1

Fallen Angel

'No, don't kill me. What have I done ?', screamed the doctor in the morgue ward of Mayo Clinic. The doctor was shot three times in the larynx region of the neck. 'Why is it that people beg for mercy once they encounter their death. The only truth there is in this world of falsified living'. A voice hidden in shadows said. 

Six years ago

Time : 4:15 pm
'You must get going officer, this year there has been quite a rise in the criminal cases especially murders', Leonard, the chief officer replied. 'Hmm, you actually are correct.' said Marco in a concerning voice. A guard came running wanting to speak to the chief. 'What is it that brings you so hurriedly here Barc ?'.'The school building in the west it has been blown off by terrorists.' said Barc .All officers went to the affected location.

They arrive

'Jesus! look at the mess everything is in rumbles. Gosh I can't even say how many innocent lives have been mercilessly taken.', Leonard thought to himself. They investigated the scene thoroughly. No desirable evidence was found. 'Why will they cause so trouble without the desire for demanding something in return?' Marco said. 'I think they are wanting us to return Alferd Bale, the leader of the Black Mist organization infamous for causing death to fifty-two members of Central Park Tower in New York.' replied Leonard. 'We had found him drunk in Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray which headed towards Louisiana highway-3' answered one of the officers. 'Blane! Rittver! ' shouted Leonard . 'Yes Sir!' Rittver replied. ' Search the area again and ask the people in the neighboring buildings. Inform immediately if you get hold of something important.' Leonard said. It had already been six in the evening. Leonard drove to his residence.

Knock Knock

 Leonard was greeted by his wife Nema.'Welcome honey. How was your day?'Nema said.' A police officer's every day is full of risks and adventures.' replied Leonard. Nema informs Leonard that his son is waiting for him in his room. 'So, Mabael is waiting ? ' Leonard said. 'I will go'. Leonard went upstairs.

Inside Mabael's room

'Hey Son. How is everything?' said Leonard. 'Dad! you are here!'. The voice of a mere 7 year old boy was so sweet and humble it could make everyone's heart melt. 'Dad, can you complete the story that you told me yesterday? What did Michael say to Lucifer when he was banished from Heaven?' Mabael said. 'Yes, listen with attention.' Leonard said.' Well, it goes as How you have fallen from Heaven, oh Lucifer son of the morning. How you are cut down to the ground. You have weakened the nations. Yet now you are brought down to the lowest depths of the pit. From that day on, Lucifer and his subordinates are claimed to be the fallen angels . '
