Chapter 10

Revelation

Time : 8:45 am
Date: 25th December 1999

' So, where exactly are we headed?' asked Juvien. ' St Mark's Cathedral ' replied Leonard. ' Hey Juvien promise me that you shall be alive while we carry out this mission. I have lost my loved ones and my friend betrayed me. I won't bear another death of my acquaintance ' requested Leonard. ' Pretty hard to tell but leave that to time ' said Juvien. ' I hope you remember about those words I told you ' asked Juvien. ' I honestly do ' replied Leonard. ' Now let's head to the designated place before we are too late ' said Leonard. They proceed towards Clerkenwell.

At Clerkenwell

' We have reached the place Juvien. Seems, we arrived early ' said Leonard. ' We do. Let us inform the head priest about the upcoming dangers ' replied Juvien. Both of them headed towards meeting the head priest. ' What brings you here folks ? ' a priest asked. ' We would like to meet the head priest of this church ' said Leonard. ' Come with me then ' replied the priest. They followed the priest. ' I am Father Dilan, head priest of St Mark's Church. He is one of the sub-ordinates who brought you here ' said the Father. ' Greetings Father, I am Leonard Morse chief of the Arlington Police Department and with me here is Juvien Mizer detective of HeH agency at Geneva. We are here to protect you Father for your life is presumely in danger ' replied Leonard. ' I see, alright stay ' said Dilan. ' Guide them to the dormitory ' .

In the dormitory

' I will take a quick shower Juvien. Stay here ' said Leonard. Leonard went to the rest room and took a shower. When he entered the dormitory, he couldn't find Juvien. ' Where is Juvien? I had told him to wait here ' said Leonard. He could find a letter in the bed which read , ' My journey of accompanying you ends here. You have to end this chase Leonard. Remember my words. Signing off- Juvien '. ' This is up to me now. Okay , I won't let you down Juvien ' said Leonard.

Time : 12 : 45 pm

' The ceremony is about to start. You should dress up priest ' said one of the sub-ordinates. ' Yes you are right ' replied Dilan. Dilan went to change clothes when a baseball bat hit his head and he blacked out. After gaining consciousness , Dilan found himself tied up. One of the sub-ordinates said , ' Out of danger. You can come in lord '. Mabael entered and said , ' Well Father Dilan, let's talk '. ' You are a high learned scholar. Tell me whether or not the devil should be forgiven by God ? ' asked Mabael. ' The devil leads us to the wrong path. He shouldn't be forgiven. He is the worst ' replied Father Dilan trembling with fear. ' I am not quite satisfied with the answer ' replied Mabael instantly ending Dilan's life. ' I wanted to end it here but seems like I have to proceed with the plan ' said Mabael dressed up as the head priest. Leonard came rushing as he was able to hear the gunshot. ' Father Dilan! No you can't die ' said Leonard. ' Father Dilan was a little conscious and said , ' End it Leonard. The Anti-Christ has awakened. Stop him' breathing his last. ' So, he has arrived. This ends here ' said Leonard.

In the church

' My dear people, Father Dilan is ill so I have decided to proceed with today's events. In the name of the trinity of darkness , sacrifice your souls to the true being ' said Mabael and put the interior of the church on fire. Leonard witnessed the horrific devastation as he went towards Mabael. ' Mabael ! what have you done ? ' asked Leonard with rage. ' Can you see it Father, the place being burnt down in hellfire ? ' replied Mabael. ' That's not right Mabael ' said Leonard. ' Tell me Father, should the devil be forgiven ? ' asked Mabael. ' It depends on perspective. You see, most of the sins we commit are actually due to ignorance whereas in Lucifer's case he was made perfect. There was no sort of ignorance in him. Whatever he did was his wish. So, God found it difficult to forgive him ' replied Leonard. ' I got my answer. You can end it. Shoot me Father '. Before Leonard could shoot , he hallucinated his wife Nema standing infront, telling him that it is his only son left. ' I won't let the soul of those dead people suffer. I will end this ' said Leonard shooting Mabael twice, once in the head and then the heart. Mabael fell on the altar right in front of the statue of Christ. He looked up the statue of Jesus and said , ' Your plans are even more spectacular ' blacking out due to blood loss. ' I might have shoot you but I won't let you die . You are my only son left ' said Leonard dragging him off the place.

In a hospital

Leonard sat outside the OT. He was visited by the same old man as earlier who said , ' Your son's question has been answered. He was quite an interesting guy' . Leonard listened and said , ' Who are you in reality'. ' Here take this card ' replied the man. The nurse came and said , ' Your son is out of danger but has forgotten his memories ' . Leonard replied, ' Atleast we can now have a fresh start ' . He looked at the card which read , ' ReficuL ' .
