NINI'S POV

Recently Shawn has been on the run and Remy, Iris nor the police can find him

I have been dropping more Letters have been recently getting dropped off at Remy and Iris's house

I have been trying to drop hints that it's me

Shawn has been becoming more suspicious of me
He always asks questions about where am i going, and why am I always writing. Things like that

If I get him arrested now he would probably almost immediately know that it was me who got him caught

Shawn has connections everywhere so even if I get him sent to jail he would probably find somebody to harm me

Shawn has been out of the way ever since his encounter with Iris. He hasn't been coming out of the house as much. If he ever needs anything he'll send me out

If I say I'm too tired and I don't. want to go that will lead to us arguing and him getting aggressive

I have to leave before I have this baby or things are gonna get bad and I don't need that for myself or my baby

But anyway right now I'm chilling at my house eating a bag of chips trying to keep my distance from Shawn

Before I could put the next chip in my mouth Shawn walked in wobbling

"go to the store for me we need some food," he said walking in and scratching his head
"Shawn no I'm tired you can go by yourself"

"Nini stop fucking playing with me before I get mad and choke yo ass out for real"
"Shawn I'm not fucking going I'm big, tired, and pregnant I'm not going"

At this point I just want him to leave me tf alone and stop trying to force me to go to the store. Our arguments usually never end well

"N-n-ini get tf out and go get us some food," he said slurring his words

he's drunk

"Shawn I'm not going so if you hungry go get some mf food yourself if you weren't tryna get ir-"

my sentence was cut off abruptly when his hand was wrapped tightly around my neck tightly
"don't mention that gay bitch name in my presence you hear me, Nini?"

I was stuck and frozen I couldn't form a sentence

"do you hear me?" he screamed in my ear
"yes Shawn," I said faintly as my oxygen started to cut off

He finally let me go as oxygen finally invaded my lungs, throughout all of our arguments he has never actually put his hands on me

All I could think about at that moment was how quickly I needed to go

I slipped my shoes on and darted out the door and to my car

IRIS POV

Right now I'm at the store with remy getting food

"bae have you heard anything from the police?" remy asked me

"no and its starting to scared me cus he could be out there somewhere watching me"
"bae ian gon let nun happen to you and yk that baby"

"I know baby I love you"
"I love you too"
she came over and wrapped her arms around me from the back

I feel safe with Remy, when I'm with her I feel like its nothing in this universe that could hurt me but the sad thing is I can't be with her all the time

"bae whatchu want for dinner tonight-" I cut off my sentence when I saw Nini with a buggy and a big belly

"bae look," I said to Remy

she turned around and seen nini as well
Nini hasn't seen us yet but we see her, but after a couple of moments of us staring she looks up at us and becomes frozen

The anger I felt months ago seemed to come rushing back to me
Before I could react my eyes followed down to her big budging belly

I had to leave before I did something I regretted, I turned around and walked towards the exit with Remy behind me

Getting stares from multiple people in the store but I didn't care at the moment I just needed to take a break before I crashed out

"Iris wait" I heard from behind me
"Nini get tf away from me before I beat the shit out of you again"

"Iris stop I have to tell you something"
"Remy get her tf away from me"

Remy started to hold her back from me
"Remy stop I just wanna talk to her and tell her something"
"I've been the one sending the letters"

I stopped my steps and turned around slowly
Now that she was closer to me I could see the red mark on her neck and the bags under her eyes

I wanted to feel remorseful for her but she put this on herself she knew what I was going through and continued to go behind my back and fuck with him and thought that it wasn't going to happen to her and now look at her

"ok so I want to start by saying sorry for fucking with Shawn I was jealous of all relationships and I wanted that so when he came onto me I fell into temptation I was being a fake ass friend and I'm sorry for that because now I'm having a baby with an abusive ass bitch"

"Nini idgaf about nun of that, your words don't mean shit to me we were best friends since elementary and you snaked me out for a nigga your weak asf for that but it's alright I'm over it now but why did you send those letters?" I said clenching my fist

"I was the one that called the police on Shawn the night you got attacked by him I knew of his plans to get you before he even attacked you that night, I couldn't live with myself knowing that he hurt you and I could've prevented it"

she continued "I've been sending letters hoping that you and Remy would eventually figure out it was me and we could get Shawn arrested because I need to get rid of him before I have my baby and it gets worse for me, whenever we argue it has never gotten physical until today and I'm afraid that it's only going to get even worse after I have my baby"

I looked at Remy and seem that she had an unreadable expression

"whatchu think bae?"
"I don't know because if she lied last time how we know she ain't lying this time?"
"Right"

"ist I'm not lying look at me," she said pointing to her neck
"Please y'all help me out I can't raise my baby with him I can't" she pleaded with tears falling from her eye

I want Shawn to suffer for what he did to me but I don't know whether I should trust her or not she hurt me too bad

"Nini I don't trust your snake ass so if I find out you on some backdooring shit that's yo ass and that's on your life," I said before walking off
