After Jiju left, I got a call from the hospital that my patient, Mr.Agarwal was having some breathing issues

I rushed to the hospital even though i didn't want to argue with that old man as he always finds a way skip surgeries and medicines!

A weary smile plastered on my face. "Mr. Agarwal ," I began, "the bypass surgery is highly recommended. It'll improve your heart function significantly."

Mr. Agarwal (61 yrs old) scoffed. "Bypass? You want to reroute my plumbing? Daughter, I've been navigating this maze for sixty years, I know all the shortcuts."

I blinked and questioned "Shortcuts, sir?"

"Sure! Like that flight of stairs? I take the elevator. Spicy food? Forget it, heartburn's a real you-know-what." Mr. Agarwal winked

I tried not to laugh, pointing at the EKG. "Mr. Agarwal, these results indicate—"

(An EKG, also known as an electrocardiogram, is a simple and painless test that measures the electrical impulses of your heart.)

"Results schmesults! I feel fine. Besides, who's gonna hold down the fort at the poker game on Tuesday nights? Can't trust those young whippersnappers with my lucky hat."

I sighed while internally crying at my fate "Look, the surgery—"

"Surgery? You want to put me under a knife? Last time that happened, it was to whittle a prize-winning duck at the county fair!" Mr. Agarwal thumped his chest, a surprising feat for an octogenarian. "This ticker's got more fight than a cornered badger, doc. We'll just keep it chugging along, the old-fashioned way."

Defeated, I could only shake my head, muttering, "Maybe a stress ball for the poker games?"

After a lot of struggles I finally convinced him to go through the surgery, the next 4-5 hours I was in the OT operating him

It was a successful surgery!!!

After shifting him to the CCU (Critical care unit) I drove back to home, As soon I entered home I saw Shivani making food as I was hungry to I asked her to make me some too, She told me to change first and I rushed inside my room to freshen up

After I came back I was told to wait for Ahana who was also getting freshen up, the next moment she arrived and we all dug into the maggie!

After eating we all left to sleep as I was really tired after the long surgery!...

*Next day*

I woke up to the news that tomorrow is Shivani's Roka Ceremony! I was really excited yet was in a panic state as we had to buy the outfit that Shivi has to wear tomorrow, we quickly finished our breakfast and rushed to buy her outfit.
