My family's words hit hard! Tears sting my eyes, blurring the world around me. The people who are supposed to be my safe haven, the ones who brought me into this world, are the very ones who keep leaving these gaping wounds in my heart

It feels like they don't see me, the real me, the person I'm trying so desperately to become. Their words cut deep, like a knife twisting in an old wound.

I crave their approval, their understanding, but all I feel is this crushing weight of disappointment, a constant ache that whispers I'm not good enough

I couldn't take their domineering crap any longer. I exploded at them, refusing to be their punching bag. The relief was immediate, but pity them, they thought I was clueless about their dark past. Did they think I'd stay silent while they threatened me? It was game over for them, one way or another. They'd get what was coming to them!

"This girl has no brains," Shivi scoffed when I suggested watching the bioluminescence.

"Just kidding, don't scare the poor baby," I countered, feigning innocence.

"Innocent? You're anything but that!" Ahana shot back.

"Whatever!" I sighed, throwing my hands up in defeat.

An awkward silence stretched between us until Jiju piped up. "I know this ain't the correct moment to ask it but-"

"When you already know that it's not the correct moment to ask about that thing then why are you even initiating it?" Shivani interrupted, cutting him off.

"For once! JUST ONCE CAN I SPEAK OUT MY THOUGHTS?!" Jiju pleaded.

"Nope," Chipmunk chirped definitively.

Jiju slumped into the passenger seat, defeated. "You guys always target my poor Jiju!" I said defending him

"Jiju ki solider aagayi!" Shivi replied. Chipmunk was laughing and suddenly I had the argue to punch him but then I saw some stains on his shirt and I realized those were my tears! I had hugged him while crying? He was the one who comforted me, without judging me.

(Here comes Jiju's solider)

He was the first ever person to do that after Shaurya Bhai and Ritvik. Ritvik was my favourite brother. But in the greed of money my parents killed my father's own brother!

They deserve to be punished, and I'll make sure to take the revenge of the blood drop they had shed because of their greed!

"Miss Cherry what deep thoughts are you in?" Chipmunk chirped. And "Thank you," were the only words I could say to him currently

He smiled at me and then we all indulged in a conversation, shared smiles. We reached the villa by 7 and we decided to have dinner by 9, since everyone wasn't that hungry.
