18. Rejection

The last day, tons of memories gathered. And a relationship secured.

We are here at the end of the day. After proposing to Shivi, well, a friendship proposal, I mean. We ate dinner and left for our villa.

We have our flight by 1 pm, and we are leaving by Shivi's jet this time as Jiju's pilot was not feeling well.

Let me flex something, we three girls own our very own jets and company, whereas Kainat owns branches of hospitals.

We are rich in short.

"Ahana, you left something in the washroom," Shivi informed me while exiting the washroom

We are packing our stuff so that we can leave. "I'll check."

I entered the washroom and saw a set of bikini laying around. "Umm- kainat..," I called out.

She peeked in the door and raised her eyebrow, I pointed at her teddy inspired bikni.

She quickly took it from in front of my eyes, 'Such a kid,' I murmured under my breath

We quickly completed our packing and left for the airport. "Shit, I forgot my phone inside," I realized as we sat in the car.

"Wait- I forgot mine as well," Bee said.

"Ahana, go and bring yours and Kanav's phone. We are waiting," Shivi said, placing herself in the passenger's seat

He informed me that it was near the side table of the couch, I nodded my head in response.

I took the keys from the receptionist and quickly went towards the room where I left my phone. I took my phone and also picked up his phone on my way back, It was ringing, indicating that someone was calling him.

I looked over and saw his 'Bae' calling

Kanav and I went towards the restaurant to order the cake and dinner.

A girl approached us, "tu es vraiment chaud ! puis-je peut-être avoir votre numéro ?" She kept her hand on his chest

(You are really hot! Can I perhaps get your number?)

The audacity to flirt with my man, "Ne l'essaye pas, c'est inutile."
(Don't try on him it's useless)

"Et qui es-tu pour décider de ça ?"
(And who are you to decide that?)

"Sa future épouse qui est sur le point de vous briser les os."
(His future wife who is about to break your bones)

"Chill girl, I'm joking," She said in a shocked tone

"If you guys are done, can you tell me what you guys are talking about, cause I couldn't understand a shit," He made a confused face

"Nothing." We both answered at the same time

"Okay, Ahana, this is Mishi, my best friend," He introduced.

"Hello," I greeted her. You fvcked up Ahana, that ain't a random but his bestie.

This man is surrounded by girls.

They both spoke for a couple of minutes, and then he went ahead to give the order, leaving me with her.

"Ahana, you like him. Don't you?" Mishi asked. "Don't delay it. Confess your feelings before someone else confesses, I know that you love him with all your heart and soul. You are leaving tonight. This is the night you can show what you feel, or else it'll be late." She patted my shoulders

"Bye, I have to leave. I've got to catch my flight," she said waving and informed the same to Kanav and left.

*flashback ends*

Maybe she was right, I must confess before it's too late. I locked the villa,
handed over the keys and walked towards the car.

"Here," I passed him his phone as I took a seat. "I'll miss these days," Kainat commented, and everyone agreed

"Bhabhi is gonna come with us within a few months," Avyaan whistled. "Shut up!" Kainat pushed his face

With this bartering we reached the airport. We checked in and proceeded towards the jet. Jiju went ahead with Shivi to check things, and Kainat moved towards the restroom. Avyaan went with her just in case.

I was alone with Kanav.

Should I confess?

I should.

"Kanav," I called out. "Yes?" He faced towards me

"Dont say anything before I complete," he nodded, and I proceeded, taking a deep breath.

"I like you, actually no, I love you. I feel for you on the first meet, but i thought it was a fling, but now I feel it's more than a fling. I know it may be too sudden, but I don't wanna lose the chance I got. So.. Will you be my boyfriend?" He took his time to process things around

"Ahana- I don't know what to do? I like a girl, and I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to forget her. I'm sorry," He said and left ahead seeing Kainat and Avyaan arriving

It hurts.

He was my first crush.

Maybe he's also gonna be my last.

I feel numb, I know he ain't wrong at his position, but going through a heartbreak isn't as easy as it looks.

I love him.

I really do.

I feel suffocated.

I proceeded towards the plane, wiping the lone tear that escaped my eye. I can't process what just happened.

I took a deep breath and entered the jet. "Over here," Kainat pointed a seat beside her

I walked towards her and took a seat. I buckled my seat belt and closed my eyes as I felt flight moving.

If I stay awake, I know I might end up crying over. It may seem like it's silly, but it isn't.

Sleep soon consumed me.

"Ahana, we reached," Shivi woke me up. It took me a second to process things around. We took our luggage and proceeded towards the car.

We bid each other goodbye and respectively left for our home.

"Aa gayi maharniya?!" Mummy commented as soon as we entered the house.
(The queens are back?!)

"I think you lost your phone. Check once."

We looked at each other confused, then took out our phones. "Ohh, so you have a phone."

We know where this is going. I looked around for a moment and saw Vihana bhabhi and Shaurya bhai.

Bhabhi had a bump- wait! "ARE YOU PREGNANT?!" I screamed, pointing at her belly

"1 month," she chuckled, and we three rushed towards her in excitement.

"Good job, Bhabhi," Shivi commented, patting her shoulders while having a proud sister face.

"Ayein? That's my hard work, okay?" He smacked her head.

"He is right. That's his seed inside!" Kainat agreed to him

This is a feeling, home. These people are unknowingly mending a broken heart.
