He continued until he heard crying and a small figure in a small alley.
Kai walked forward slowly and still made enough noise not to scare the youngest. He raised his head, while wiping his tears."Leave me alone, said the blond.
-I just want you not to be alone...
-Yet I want to be, he added in a cold tone.
-Are you sure you don't want to go back?
-If it is to continue to be reproached, I prefer to remain alone all my life.
-Come on, get up, the brunette took him by the arm.
-It's a bad idea, I tell you.
-So let's talk about other things, well, do you remember in the forest when we fled?
-Yes because of Skylor but please I don't see the connection at all, whispered the youngest.
-You asked me all kinds of questions, little one, at least remember them.-Yeah, and?-Well, I couldn't answer one of them.
-Uh, he thought for a moment and had a little reaction, are you going to tell me now?!
-Well, I don't really know how you wanted to be alone, ultimately I'm going to leave, Kai turned around.
-No, it's good, you won, say to me.
-Well, the oldest began embarrassed, it's less funny to say now, especially in this situation.
-So in fact I'm going to go back to the monastery and you won't have told me anything, that's technically a lie there, the blond grumbled.
-So if I tell you, you won't judge me.
-Hm okay ?
-Little head, I think I fell in love with you," he finally said.
The youngest took a few seconds to understand the information before a look of disgust took over his face. He knew well that at that moment, nothing was reciprocal, and Kai understood that their friendship was over from the moment he said this sentence. Lloyd, took his arm out of Kai's grip and left with his back to him, without response.
The brunette fell to his knees and held his head in his arms. The smallest had left, without saying anything, disgusted, which didn't really surprise the older one.
"What the hell did I do to tell him that?" he cursed himself inwardly.
The rain added to all this, leaving him alone in the middle of an alley. He first opted to go to a bar to get another drunk so he could forget everything but the idea of going home like that with his parents didn't really appeal to him. So he got up, having only one solution, to go back and face the blonde's gaze on him. He walked, and returned, not without having had a small drink at the bar, in the darkness of the night.
Kai pushed open the doors of the monastery and found it all too quiet when his gaze fell on everyone sitting around tea in the living room. He sighed and already prepared himself for reproaches. The brunette passed by, there was no comment but he stopped abruptly.
"Kai? Asked his sister, is everything okay?
He sighed while lowering his head, uttering only one sentence.
"I agree to take up the forge again."
Finally, he closed the door to his room, dropping into his bed, crying again, becoming exasperated over his fate. The others wondered at this direct change in behavior but preferred to follow the brunette's example and go to sleep. The next morning, he woke up late, his eyes red from crying so much as he prepared himself for his answer. He walked with a heavy step, with a slight hangover, due to the few drinks he had had.
