All the ninjas were thrown far... Very far.

When Nya woke up, she didn't recognize the place. She raised herself up on her elbows, trying to see something or even someone but she was alone. Alone in the middle of a territory that was unknown to her. While she was still getting up on her guard, she heard a rustling not far away and already prepared to defend herself. A figure emerged from a small bush. The brunette closed her eyes and struck a blow before recognizing a voice she knew when she opened her eyes.

"Oh my god Jay I'm so sorry," she said, kneeling down to his level.

"Damn, you have strength."

"Thanks. Have you seen the others?"

"No, I was looking for them before hearing the noise but it was only you."

"I think everyone will try to find each other so I suggest we look for as many clues as possible that could lead us to Ninjago."

"I follow you," said Jay quite smiling.

The couple walked, looking around to try to see something but nothing, there was nothing. They walked all day without finding anything else. They didn't speak, just glances that lost more and more hope of finding their friends. Dusk arrived, making it difficult for them to find each other again, so they decided to stop for the night. While Jay tried as best he could to light a fire, Nya brought leaves to sleep on and protect them from the rain that was gradually appearing. Silence returned and in the middle of the unknown forest there was only them and the crackling of the fire. The lightning ninja was already starting to doze off, mainly due to all the miles they had traveled but also due to hunger. The young woman also began to fall asleep against Jay's shoulder before a hand rested on hers and she woke up with a start.

"It's just me," Zane said in a whisper.

"Oh my god, you scared me."

"That was not my intention, I apologize," said the robot while sitting down. "I managed to perceive a basic signal and it turns out to be you. Unfortunately I couldn't find any trace of Cole or your brother with Lloyd."

"I think we'd better resume the search tomorrow in broad daylight."

Zane nodded before everyone let themselves be carried away by the fatigue of the events.

The next morning it was humid and the last drops of rain were falling from the leaves of the trees. Our three ninjas woke up peacefully despite being quite hungry and decided to hit the road straight away to find all their friends. As they passed a small clearing, noises that sounded more like grunts made them stop further discussion. They moved forward step by step for fear that it was a monster but all the ninjas were surprised to see Cole cutting wood and that it was also him who was making all his noises.

"Cole you gave us one of his kits!" Jay grumbled when they got near him.

"I think it was you who was the most scared."

"Right," Nya said, laughing. "And otherwise you thought it was the end of the world?" she asked seeing that he had made mud lines on his face and that he had also made himself a bandana.

"Considering where we are, yes," he said, laughing a little before noticing two absences in the group. "You haven't found them?"

"No," replied the young girl.

"Cool then we won't have any more problems."

"You're exaggerating a bit Cole. Okay, now we need to find Ninjago."

"And be attacked again?" retorted the earth ninja. "I still prefer to stay here."

"Well, stay here, we'll at least go get some food."

Knowing very well that her friend could not last so long eating only fruits from the forest, she insisted on the word before he joined them on the path that would perhaps take them home.

While our ninjas were quietly on their way "back", Lloyd did not want to go back there under any circumstances. Since he had been ejected from the monastery, he had not moved and had no intention of doing so. As his hunger caught up with him too, he decided to head into the mountains to get a glimpse of where he might be. He climbed, slipping a few times but managing to reach a plateau high enough to see something.

At first, he only saw the forest surrounding him on all sides before recognizing a large tower that was part of Ninjago City standing in the cloudy sky. But it wasn't a sigh of relief that came over him, quite the contrary, all the worst moments of his life flashed through his head reminding him that the city had made him suffer. Tears soon filled his eyes and he collapsed onto his knees. He no longer had the strength to see this city which seemed so comforting on the surface but which had taken away almost all the moments of happiness to which he had been entitled. Lloyd knew what he had to do...never go back there again.

Another evening fell again and the small troop had only managed to reach a small clearing from where the first silhouettes of buildings could be seen in the dark. Cole, who had already started to sink to the ground, was picked up directly to see that they were continuing their journey. Of course, he grumbled that they needed to sleep, but the idea of being able to eat again gave him the courage to walk. They walked, despite the cold and humidity, before their efforts paid off. They had arrived.

The city they had always known was still here, but also still in a pitiful state or even more degraded than before the attack. While they were looking around for a small life form, Zane called out to them that there was a food store still in operation. The ninjas robbed the entire store and already began to satisfy their hunger. We could hear in the night the opening of certain food packages but that was already a lot for them. All these latest events had left them upset and, above all, tired. None of the ninja thought about the death of Sensei Wu, already having too many images in their heads just to bring up the subject or try to talk about it.

After this good little meal, the spirits were able to rest peacefully except for one. Zane didn't really want to sleep and decided to go and inspect the city and its nooks and crannies to try to find some more or less useful clues. The robot stood up, careful not to wake his friends before walking through the rubble. After a short walk, he found a small store selling various electronic items and managed to get a flashlight. Zane then pointed it into small corners, sometimes seeing stray animals searching in old boxes or old abandoned trash cans. However, the robot did not stop at this part of the city and decided to place a small sensor near its friends to then find their tracks.

What he visited first was the Borg Tower, seeing it in ruins and above all, emptier than ever. The robot looked for traces of life, or even the trace of Pixal but there was nothing, nothing except old electrical cables which were aging and slowly burning out. He sighed, seeing very well that any other hope of life was growing weaker and weaker each day before heading back outside into the deserted streets.

He walked again, still shining his lamp in front of him, letting it reflect on the damaged windows of the remaining houses before hearing the sound of a tin can rolling on the ground. He turned around abruptly expecting to see an animal but instead he froze. A figure stood bent over in a small alley, revealing only its shadow and its dangling arm.
