This chapter is a bit short but the next will be longer.

As the Earth continued heading towards Sun, he frowned softly. Sun looked over at him and smiled. "Hey Earth!" He stopped smiling. "Uh, you know you're about to exist the Goldilocks Zone, right?" He grew concerned with the hopeless look on Earth's face. "Yes. I don't care anymore."

"Um, but wait! What about your earthlings?" He raised an eyebrow. Didn't Earth care about his earthlings? "They don't care about me." Earth's voice sounded so sad. Sun needed to speak up. "But you care about them! Come on, you're not thinking straight!" He couldn't remember the last time he wasn't smiling.

"My earthlings have been looking for a way to leave me for a long time now, okay? Nobody should be close to me. Nobody wants to, so...I'll just do them a favor and speed up the process." He had a look of determination but for a not so good reason. This was deeply concerning. "Hey come on, stop! I'll-" Sun thought for a moment. "If you get any closer I'll-" He got cut off.

"Shoot a solar flare? I don't care." He sped up. If he was going to kill himself, he was going to have to move past his worries and doubts. The fact that the sun never moved was helpful in this situation. "I'm just...I'm tired of causing pain and making others angry! I'm tired of being so- so narcissistic!" Earth rushes towards the sun even faster than before. "It's not like you would understand."

He's almost there! Soon his earthlings would either be in space with the other planets or dead. They were already planning to leave but they're scared. He would be too. So why would he try to stop them? He hopes he won't regret this.

At this point, the sun has given up trying to stop him. What was he supposed to do? What could he do? All he could do was sit and watch as Earth killed himself. In just a few minutes, the Earth would be gone. Forever.

It happened. The sun watched as he screamed and burned. In just a second, he had been disintegrated. He was truly gone...He saw Earth's face as he grew closer. He was sobbing while clearly in pain. It was honestly pretty surprising he had gotten close enough to die and not give up a while back due to the heat.

The sun had a frown on his face.
