(a/n: reader is a friend of Angourie's who met her while she was working on Spider-Man: Far From Home and was filming in England. reader was not working on the movie, they met outside of set. reader is also British.)

Reader POV!

Today I'm visiting my friend Angourie on the set of her new movie, Mean Girls! Angourie called me as soon as she found out she got the role because she knows that Mean Girls is a very important movie in my life. We met in July of 2018 when she was filming Spider-Man: Far From Home in England and the first movie we ever watched together was Mean Girls! We watched it so many times together and really bonded over it. It's in my Top 4 on Letterboxd.

Angourie invites me to set on most of the projects she's done since we met and she seemed very excited to invite me to this one. She knows I'm a huge fan of Reneé and has teased me a little bit about it but it's all friendly so I don't really mind. Currently, I'm walking through an Airport in New Jersey trying to find my suitcase so I can leave. After standing around for a couple minutes my suitcase shows up on the conveyor belt so I pick it up and start to walk to the exit. 

In the mean time, I pull out my phone to Snapchat Angourie a picture of my legs and suitcase walking with the caption 'omw snookems'. It may seem cringe but we always called each other those cringe pet names. She snapped me back with a selfie and the caption 'okay tina and i are pulling up rn.' I gasp in the middle of this random airport. People look at me weirdly but that made sense because I was alone. I quickly text her on Snapchat and say 'TINA FEY??? WTF ANGOURIE. SENDING ME IN THE DEEP END WITH THE SHARKS STRAIGHT AWAY FR!!!!'  She texted me back laughing emojis. That little rat. I can't believe she's doing this to me. She knows that Tina Fey is like my comedy hero and my screenwriting hero and that my dream is to write movies and shows like hers. She did this on purpose. 

I walk out of the large building and along a path to find the car. Eventually I see the car and I put on a fake annoyed face and she spots me and laughs. Angourie got out the car to greet me and give me a hug. "Hi pooks, how was the flight?" She hugs me tightly. I jokingly cringe and hug her back before responding, "It was very long and boring. 8 hours is not a fun time to be awake for. I couldn't sleep at all. How are you? How is filming so far?" I complain and question her. She frowns at my complaints but then smiles at my questions. "I'm just fantastic. Filming is great so far and everyone is so fun. Obviously, you already met Avantika from when you visited me on Senior Year, so you know her. Everyone else is so fun and talented. Obviously, it's tiring, but that's because it is also long hours but that's all good." As we continue to make small talk Angourie helps me put my luggage in Tina's car and opens the back door for me so I can get in the car. 

Tina greets me and starts to drive straight to set from the airport. "Hi Tina, it's so lovely to meet you. Thank you so much for picking me up. If I'm being completely honest I had no idea you were going to pick me up and I'm a huge fan of yours. I'm not sure how much Angourie has told you but I'm sure it's a lot and that it's also embarrassing." I ramble at Tina.

"It's lovely to meet you too, Y/n. You'd be correct. Angourie has told me you're a huge fan and that you love my comedy stuff and my work in general. I really appreciate it. She told me you want to do screenwriting? Is that right?" Tina starts a conversation as she starts the 45 minute drive to the school they're filming the movie at. "Yeah, she's right. It's like my biggest dream in the world. I want to do big things. I don't want to get too ambitious but an Oscar would be nice." I joke around with Tina and Angourie smiles at how excited I am. I can tell she's very proud of putting me in this uncomfortable situation. But I'm also happy she did it. Breaks the ice easier so I don't have to awkwardly walk up to her and introduce myself later. Tina laughs at my joke. "You're funny. Hey, if you have anything already written you should send it to me. Maybe we could set up a zoom call some day and then I could review it with you. I could give you some pointers and you could maybe write something with me and we could get it sent in to a production company and hopefully get it green lit." My jaw drops at her proposal. I start to stutter at her in complete shock. "Are you serious? Am I dreaming? Is this real?"
