1| Dance Pe Chance

"Let's Naach It Our Way." The famous and very well known dance competition held every year where the participants perform a great variety of various dance forms from waltz, tango and more to bollywood and contemporary, etc,.

This year also, the competition was about to be held very soon and the other dancers were talking about it. 'She' was not much interested in their talks on usual days but hearing about the competition made her intrigued and made her want to participate in it and perform her favourite dance form: Salsa.

But there was a slight issue. Salsa requires a partner and she had no one. She was just thinking about what to do when her best friend tapped on her shoulder.

"Oye Gautami, kahan khoyi hui hai tu?"

"Kuch nahi yaar, bas kuch soch rahi thi."

"Kya baat hai?"

"Tune 'Let's Naach It Our Way' ka naam toh suna hoga naa?"

"Haa, mujhe woh show kaafi pasand hai par tu mujhe yeh kyun puch rahi hai Gautami?"

"Main uss show pe perform karne ka soch rahi hoon. Tujhe kya lagta hai?"

"Haa, yeh toh bohot acchi baat hai. Ofcourse participate kar Gautami😄" Her best friend said with a smile supporting her decision.

"Shukriya Sanjana☺"

"Waise, tu kaunsa dance form karegi?"

"Salsa, par uske liye mera koi partner nahi hai." Gautami said with a frown😒

"Tu zyada tension mat le, hum aaj dance class ke baad kisi se baat karke dekh sakte hai."

"Hmm maybe."

"Isse accha tum mujhe banalo dance partner, kyun Gautami😏?"

"Oh hell no!! Kabhi nahi Abhyudaya😑"

"Main itna bhi bura nahi hoon yaar par alright, as you wish🤷🏻‍♂️"

"Jao yaar tum😑"

"Why so rude yaar Gautami?"

"Tumse matlab🤭?"

"Ughh!!"

"Tu Abhyudaya se itna rude behave kyun karti hai? Woh toh bas teri madat karne aaya tha aur tune aisa bol diya usse🤦🏻‍♀️"

"Woh bas mere mazze lene aaya tha jaisa karta aaya hai."

"But still--"

"Chor naa yaar. Dekh mam bhi aagayi hai. Baad mein baat karenge Sanjana."

"Baat toh teri sahi hai, Gautami."

"Good evening everyone. Today, we will practice some more basics of Salsa dance and then have you all perform the complete dance one by one, so grab your partners and we will get started."

Everyone started partnering up with each other but Gautami was clueless and did not know what to do. Whoever she approached to become her partner rejected her and partnered up with someone else. That's when Abhyudaya noticed her and came towards her without letting her know about his presence.
