She was sitting idle on her bed, scrolling reels on her Instagram with a frown on her face. Perhaps, she was waiting for something from someone on her phone?
Well yes, indeed she was. It was her birthday. 25th birthday and everyone had wished her except him. She knew how much he was busy these days due to his YouTube work, shooting videos, editing them and then starting another video for his second channel. Repeating the same work again and again.
"Yeh Nischay bhi naa, maana ke kaam ke chakkar mein woh busy rehne laga hai par aisa kaunsa busy hogaya hai ke usse ek phone call/text karne mein bhi itna waqt hogaya hai?"
It was past 2 am but yet she had kept herself awake just for him and his one call but that was also seeming to her as possibly too much. She was thinking about it when her phone started ringing. On noticing the caller ID, she smiled but rolled her eyes at the same time after realizing how much late he had been to atleast ask for her well-being as a formality also.
"Hello?"
"Happy birthday Y/n, my sweetheart❤. Mujhe maaf kardena, I know main late hogaya tumhe iss saal firstly wish karne mein whereas pehle se main hi sabse firstly tumhe wish karta tha par kaam aagaya yaar last moment pe. I'm sorry Y/n🥲"
All the upsetness Y/n was holding back from venting out to him seemed to be leaving from her mind somehow hearing his voice and his apology. Her heart was melting and mind moist.
"Y/n? Are you there dear?"
"Yeah yeah, sorry main kuch soch rahi thi and it's okay, I understand Nish. Tumhari majboori thi ke tum wish karne mein late hogaye."
"I know tum ab bhi mujhse naraaz hogi and I understand, don't worry. Tum tension mat lo, maine tumhare liye ek surprise plan kiya hai kal ke liye. Main tumhe pick-up karne aajaunga, bas tum ready rehna☺"
"Nish, inn sab ki kya zaroorat yaar?" She said while blushing a little.
"Tum kuch mat socho abhi, thik hai? Kal sab pata aur dekh lena tum💞"
"Okay then, as you say. Goodnight Nish aur so jaana ab. Jage mat rehna, samjhe?"
"Haa ji Y/n, samajh gaya main. Tum bhi sojao ab. Goodnight, I love you❤"
"I love you too Nischay💝"
Both of them slept and time skips to the next day. The official day of Y/n's birthday. Everyone wished her along with her friends which made Y/n happy but she could not wait to meet Nischay and see what's he been upto for her birthday.

Y/n was getting ready when her phone started ringing and it was him who was calling. She picked up the call with a smile.
"Hello Nish, kahan ho tum?"
"Guess karo👀"
"Bata do naa😩"
"Accha, apne khidki se neeche dekho."
Y/n does as Nischay says and opens the window of her room, looking down. That's when she noticed him smiling a her standing in the garden.
"Tum pohoche kab?"
"Tumne mujhe yaad aaya, main chala aaya❤"
"Tum bhi naa Nish, ruko main aa rahi hoon abhi💞🙈😆"
