"uth jaa mera baccha ,or kitna soyega ? Tujhe ready bhi toh hona hai . Sagai ka time bhi ho gaya hai....jaldi uthh...sab nichey wait kar rahe hai tumhare liye" maa said in a dramatic way , trying to wake me up.
( Get up dear , how much more you gonna sleep? You have to get ready too . It's almost time for the engagement....hurry up....everyone is waiting for you.)
"Good morning maa" I greeted her slowly opening my eyes.
"It's Good evening now, not good morning...." Maa kissed my forehead and continues " get up, Take shower , here is your outfit , wear this and come outside... QUICKLY." pointing towards the outfit she choose for me.
"Areyy Maa aap itni tension kyu le rahi ho log hai nah , woh sab kar lenge or kuch problem hua toh hum....." Maa didn't even let me complete my sentence and warned "30 MINUTES."
"Okay Maa, I'm coming " I replied and soon maa left the room.
I get up and checked my phone to see if there's any call or message...it's 5 pm , damm I actually spent a lot...and yeahh there's 5 missed calls and 4 messages from Ravi , my bestfriend that says "Kutte kaha hai tu ?? Kab se call kar raha hu" , "????" , "...."and "HELLO....SIR...ARE U DEAD ???". I left him on seen cause honestly I don't have any energy to listen to his nonsense now. I put the phone on charge and went to take shower.
After the shower , I wear the white kurta set that Maa ironed for me with black formal shoes and now I'm trying to set my hair.
Today is the engagement party of Rishav & Suhana , my brother and his girlfriend . And within few weeks they're getting married. They've been dating seen college. Their love story is literally the bollywood type, like they went to the same college , where they met each other, started talking with each other, fall in love and now they are getting married. Wow...

"But bro seriously , 5 missed calls and 4 messages and you still manage to sleep through it" Ravi stated plopping himself down on the bed . "What happened? Did the world end ?? Or did someone finally find out that the Earth is flat ??" I inquired him to which he responded " No , but I did think about calling everyone because you were literally dead in your sleep."
