"Let me help you with the bags."

I looked up and saw riya standing infront of me, looking at my hands. I quickly picked up the bags "no , no it's okay. Let's go" said, smiling at her.

"Please let me, I know it's heavy." She said reaching her hand for the bags.

"No, no,..I've got it, really. Just a few more steps to the car" I said shifting the bags slightly.

She said "acha, atleast give me few bags. Please...". I looked into her eyes and the world around me faded into a watercolor blur. Her hazel brown eyes, like autumn leaves catching the last light of dusk, drew me in with an innocent wonder, every heartbeat echoed like the soft rustle of leaves in the breeze. In that moment, I felt like my souls dancing, entwined in a silent poetry only I could understand and hoping she does too.

"Give me the bags" her voice jolted me back to reality. "Huh..NO... okay wait.." I gave her a bag which is less heavier "okay, here carry this" I told her.

She glance at me "Do I look like a baby?"

Yes...my baby...
BABY GIRL...

"That you're just giving me the light bag so I won't hurt myself...give me the bags" she complained.

She extended her hand towards me, reaching for the heavy shopping bags that were weighing me down. As our hands brushed against each other, attempting to secure a firm grip on the bags, I felt a jolt of electricity surge through me. It was an unexpected sensation, a spark triggered by our brief touch, that ignited something within me. It was a curious feeling. Did she felt it too ?? Or am I the only one who felt like this...

Keeping all the thoughts aside I sighs "okay fine, here take these two bags and don't ask me for more cause I'm not letting you carry anymore, now let's go" we started walking together. I can't help but notice our height difference... it's kind of...

"cute" I didn't realise that I said that loudly

"Kuch bola apne??" She asked

Aap?? Hayee....

"Nahi, kuch bhi toh nahi" I replied. "Acha btw, can I ask you something?"

She looked at me "yeah, sure"

"How will you manage to wear all these....the lehenga, it's too heavy"

"I don't know how, but I'm definitely gonna wear this, cause this lehenga is absolutely magical. Those intricate embroidery patterns! They're so delicate. It's as if a thousand tiny butterflies were woven into it. I love how the flared skirt dances with movement. Imagine twirling in this at a Sangeet!" she explained everything about that lehenga.

"You liked the lehenga THAT much?" I questioned her.

"I like it?? I LOVED IT" looking at her excitement for the lehenga, a small smile appeared on my face.
