I didn't get enough sleep, maybe 3 hours, I don't know..I literally went to sleep after 4am and now it's 7 in the morning.

Today, the elders decided to perform Grah Shanti pooja for Rishav & Suhana. It's basically performed by the to-be-bride and groom few days before the wedding. According to the elders, it is important to seek the divine blessings for the couple before their marriage ceremony.

Getting ready, I went outside and find everyone busy. Suhana, Shanvi and Arian, decorating the puja ghar, Mansi & Neha auntie making prasad, and both uncle being busy talking to the workers.

"Good morning everyone" I joined them.

"Good morning, Riya. Did you sleep well?" Mansi aunty ask me.

"Yes aunty, I...slept well" I replied after a pause. A smile appear on my face remembering last night.

Yesterday was the first time I've actually talked to Abhay for so long and I felt good. Like I need time to be comfortable with someone new, but with him, it felt like I know him for years.

"Riya Di idhar aao nah" Shanvi called me.

"Yeah, wait I'm comi-" I was going there but I got a call. It was Aleena, my friend from New York. She basically came into my life as a perfect 3 in 1 package, what I mean to say is that she's my workmate, teammate and roommate. She never let me feel left out all these years, she's my only family in New York honestly speaking.

"Um, you guys carry on, I'll be right back" informing everyone, I went outside to attend the call. I know, she'll scream at me as soon as I pick up the call cause she called me few times and even messaged me but I don't reply to any of them as I was busy here.

"Hello?" I respond the call, ready to hear her burst out.

"DUDE FINALLY. YOU PICKED UP MY DAMM CALL, RIYA. YOU KNOW, I WAS SO READY TO BLOCK YOUR CONTACT IF YOU DIDN'T ANSWER MY THIS CALL." I was ready to hear that, I knew that was coming.

"Phew, Thank God I picked up the call."

"Yes, you should be. You know, how worried I was Riya? You didn't reply to my call or message and you didn't even informed me whether you reached there safely or not."

"I'm fine, I'm safe and I'm sorry Alley, I'm really sorry. I was so busy with everything that I didn't get a chance to talk to you." I apologise.

"Yeah, yeah. I know chill. I was just joking but..not the worried part okay? I was seriously worried about you."

"I'm sorry again and Don't worry, I'm fine here."
