Chapter4: Fast Advances

I stood there taken back at what just happened, frozen and caught up in the moment. I let out a small smile back in return before breaking the eye contact.
"We should probably get back to the group, their gonna think something's going on" I say my hands grabbing his hands and taking them off my face, he intertwined his fingers within mine and I shoot him a look but he just returns back a goofy smile.
"It's just hard you know, being cheated on isent something that's easy to get over" I say shaking his grip on my hand.

"Oh, I completely understand. We can just be friends I guess" he says his face suddenly saddened. "But do you want to go out for dinner tomorrow, show you around Sydney?"
I nodded smiling an turned around and started walking towards the music blasting from the boys room.
I push open the door, Calum following quickly. The glances of the boys and my friends could kill someone.
"So where were you guys" Michael smirks while Caroline snickers with him.
"We just talked" Calum says, his hand rubbing the back of his neck.
Gosh why did he get so nervous whenever people question anything about me and him.
"Yeah right... talking" Luke says air quoting talking.
"He wouldn't do anything with her anyways.. he would have to marry her first" Ashton joins in the mocking.

I ignore their chirps towards Calum and walk over and plopped myself on the couch between Luke and Ashton.
Michael walks over to the mini fridge and pulls out a bottle of vodka.
"Should we get this party started?" He says searching the cupboards for any shot glasses.
Eventually he finds some and sets the bottle in the middle of the floor and the glasses around the bottle.
" Let's play a little game called Never Have I Ever" Luke squeals flinging himself off the bed and towards to the bottle in the middle of the room.

Everyone was settled around the bottle with a shot glass located in front of them.
"Okay I'll start, never have I ever smoked" Calum said, his eyes darting around the room to see if anyone would take a shot. I glanced nervously over to Annie and slowly began to reach for my shot glass, as so did the rest of the other girls. The boys just sat there as us girls took a shot.
"Really? you guys have never.." Taylor said looking at Luke than at the rest of them. They just sat there wide eyed like a deer in headlights, before bursting into laughter.
"Yeah we all have, we just wanted to see what you guys would think if we pretended we never did" Ashton says giggling while raising his shot glass.

"Okay my turn, Never have I ever been high" Annie says, proudly knowing she would get someone. We all sat there looking at each other waiting for someone to make a move.
"This is going to take forever to get drunk" Calum whines and makes a puppy dog face.
"I got a question everyone's going to have done" I say smiling and looking at Calum. "Never have I ever had a GIRLfriend"
"Well that's not fair!! Michael says looking at me before taking his shot. I shrugged and laughed at all the boys taking it, but realizing Calum hasn't taken his.
"Calum you have to take your shot dude" Caroline says pointing to his still full shot glass. He just stares at her, the room becoming very cold.
"I've never had a girlfriend.." Calum says fiddling with his hands in his lap.
"What he means to say is, he has had a crush on a girl but, she is no longer here" Ashton says rubbing Calum's back as he looks at his hands in his lap.
We all sat there in silence, not knowing what to say to try and get the energy back into the room.
"OH I HAVE AN IDEA" Michael yells and running over to his backpack and pulling out a case of Coronas.
"eh Michael pass me one" Calum says extending his hand out and receiving a beer, already opened. He waits for everyone to have one before standing up
"I'd like to make a toast.. to new friends and friendships. Let the memories begin guys" He says raising his beer up, we all do the same and take a swish of our Coronas. The cold drink rushing down my throat leaving my throat feeling numb from the alcohol. I'm not much of a big drinker, usually a beer and I'm buzzed so it didn't take me long to get a little drunk.
"Calum your cheeks are so soft and squishy looking" I said poking his cheeks while laying on his lap, which I don't think either of us minded.
"Sarah, your drunk you know" He says taking another sip of his beer, while I have already finished mine 15 minutes earlier. Wow a couple shots and a beer would get me drunk, good one Sarah.

By this time the rest have turned on a movie and were sprawled out on the couch and floor in front of the small TV. Calum and I were on the bed next to the couch, basically me laying on him as he drew little circles on my thigh.
"Calum"I say tilting my head so my eyes met his.
"What?" He whispers trying not to be to loud so the others won't get disturbed by them talking.
"Your so cute your like a little puppy. I just want to snuggle" I slur poking his cheeks once more. He chuckles at my drunken state. My eyelids begin to get heavy, still adjusting to the time difference and being drunk wasn't really helping.
My eyes fluttered closed and soon enough I was out like a light. Before I fell into my sleep I heard a voice,
"He didn't deserve you anyway" I think it was Calums, was he talking about Ryan? The thoughts ran through my mind as I drifted off into a sleep.

I was woken up by a ray of sunlight breaking through the curtain window, my head slowly pounding more and more. I readjusted myself, noticing Calum's arms wrapped around my waist and his breathe tickling the back of my neck.
Memories started flooding back to me, the drinking game, the beer, laying across Calum.Where was everyone else though? I unwrapped his arms around me and snuck out of the bed, searching for any of the others.
I checked the time on my phone, 7:30. Wow was timezone being a bitch today. I looked over at Calum who was surprisingly looking back at me.

"There's Advil on the counter" He says smiling at my pain, how cute. I was over to the counter and grab the Advil. I pour two tablets into my hand and swallow them with some water.
"You know we still have like 3 hours till the others wake up" Calum moaned, rubbing his eyes. His morning voice was super attractive not going to lie.
"And what should we do" I ask retying my hair back into a loose ponytail.

"Come back and lie with me" He says
