3rd Person's POV:
Byeol walked down the hallway, with Mingyu by her side. "Hey, does your girl knows about us?" She nudged him. "Yup. She knows you and about the payment thing as well." He shrugged simply. "But is she from this university?" Mingyu shook his head. "She is from different one. Already a big fan of yours." Byeol halted. "How?" "Miss captain, you are not only famous in our college, but you are also famous in other colleges as well! Not only as the team captain, but as the only heir of Moon automobiles!" Byeol's smiled faltered, but she composed herself. "I see."
"Now, why is he approaching us?" Byeol looked in the direction where Mingyu was looking and saw Chan coming towards them with a frown. "Is he going to punch me or what? Please don't throw me into another dimension. Gosh, why he looks so scary?" "Shut up, puppy. Put your arm on my shoulder and flirt instead of getting scared. Use your height to your advantage and scare him away." Byeol hissed at him. Mingyu did what she asked him to do and started to flirt.
"Your nose is so pretty." "And your eyes." They stopped when they saw Chan standing in front of them. He looked at Mingyu and then Byeol. "What?" Byeol raised her eyebrows, ignoring the flashbacks she had when he accidentally exposed himself on the group chat. "Leave her." Chan told Mingyu with full attitude and in a threatening voice. Mingyu almost cowered away if it wasn't for Byeol to hold him back and glare at Chan.
"What the heck, Bang Chan?" "I want to talk to you." His eyes softened when he looked at her. "He is my boyfriend. You can talk in front of him. I don't want him to think that I'm cheating on him or something, by talking to another man." She eyed him judgingly like a mean high schooler, internally cringing, not even remembering when the last time was, when she did something like that.
Chan smirked and looked at Mingyu. "Well, you seemed to be so much loyal to him, but is he?" He told her and looked at her with sadness. "Yup." She replied nonchalantly. "But I saw him making out with another girl yesterday at the club." He told her and Mingyu's eyed widened. "What were you doing at the club?" She asked infuriated. "I was enjoying with my friends. Yesterday was Mia's birthday party, so I went there." He shrugged like it was nothing. "Did you do anything with anyone, or more specifically, Mia?" She yanked Mingyu's arm away and pulled Chan by his collar, startling him.
"No? But why are you not angry on him?" Chan asked confused. Byeol realized and turned to Mingyu. She turned the terrified boy around and kicked him on the butt, yelling, "I BREAK UP WITH YOU! GOODBYE!" She eagerly looked back at Chan and again held him by his collar and pulled him closer to herself. "Now tell me." She asked threateningly. "Did anything else happened? Did Mia do something to any of the boys?" She asked him furiously and Chan was confused and lowkey scared at her seriousness. "Nothing much. She tried to approach Minho, but he pushed her away and went to search for someone named, 'Suzy'. She tried to talk to Hyunjin as well, but Iseul scowled at her and sent her away. She did try to talk to me, but I left her because of some emergency."
Byeol sighed and relaxed. She let his collar go and closed her eyes. "Remember my advice and stay away from her. Keep our children away from her as well." Byeol gulped and walked away while clutching her bag. Her statement made Chan's heartbeat rose. 'How good it sounded to call the kids as "our" instead of "mine".' He daydreamed but then shook himself to reality. "Did I just think that? No way." He cringed. But then remembered the bitterness her face showed when Mia was mentioned.
This made Chan curious. Mia is a student who has joined their college this year and is also a third-year student like them. She shares the exact same classes as Byeol as he has always seen the two of them often going toward the same direction. But what might have happened between these two, which made Byeol say such things to her. He swore to god he has never seen their interactions ever. They seem like someone who exists, but you ignore them. Anyways, he decided to find it our by himself, because we should,
Never give up.
