3rd Person's POV:

Chan waited for her in the cafe. She decided to not ruin Jisung's or Felix birthday as she thought that if they talk at that time, some shit will surely go down. So, she decided to meet with him outside and away from the kids. Chan waved when he saw Byeol approaching the table. He was confused and was internally debating what he should talk to her about. Should he confess? But he wasn't very sure about his feelings and don't want to do 'trial and fail' method.

Byeol sat down in front of him and looked at him straight in the eyes. "Let's get down to business, Christopher."

Eunji entered the living room. It was about 11 p.m. and she was planning to have some snacks as she felt hungry. She prepared some ramen and went to the living room, only to get shocked and scream. Chan lazily croaked his head up from the couch and looked at her while scowling. "Why are you lying on the couch with your face down? Wait, are you-" "Are you crying?" They heard Seungmin's voice, followed by the others in the house also scurrying out of their rooms because of Eunji's scream.

"WHO ATTACKED ON OUR HOUSE?" "WHO WAS KILLED?" The two new 21 years olds shouted in unison. They both received a smack by their female twin, Iseul. "Not even in the night there is peace in this house." Minho groaned and then his eyes landed on Chan's teary face. "What happened to you?" He stared. "Byeol happened." He wailed.

Chan's dormmates looked at each other with confusion and it was the moment when Minho realized that Chan was drunk. Of course, he would have gone to some club or somewhere, because he didn't come back home after his and Byeol's meeting and told them to go to sleep and not wait for him. "Did you drink?" Minho asked with his hands on his hips. "A little bit." Chan sniffed.

Felix hurried and sat down beside him, side hugging him. "What happened, Hyung?" Chan sniffed again. "S-She told me, that s-she will never pester me, or talk to m-me, from n-now onwards." "But isn't that good for you? Isn't that what you wanted?" Iseul questioned, sitting down in front of him. The others also sat down on the couch surrounding him, knowing that this was their only chance to get some answers from him.

"I used to, now her presence is like a vitamin to me." He smiled dreamily. "That's so cringe, bro." Seungmin whispered to Iseul and Minho, both nodding. "Do you like her?" Jisung asked carefully. "I don't know. I was never close to any other girl except her, and I don't know if the feelings I have for her can be classified as like or love." Chan confessed.

"He was not even going to agree that he 'liked' her, now is talking about 'love'." Minho whispered to Iseul and Seungmin. Those three have already made their own group and have become the gossip girls for now.

"You were close with a lot of girls before. For example, me, Iseul, Aera, you've known Hana for quite some time as well, that Australian friend of yours, then that Thai one, some are even unknown to me as you've basically either befriended or introduced yourself to almost the 85-90% of the whole university." Eunji pointed out. "Just accept Hyung, that you like her." Jisung professed, tired of being his only therapist. "No, I don't."

"Hyung-" "I'm in love with her." This froze every single soul in the damn living room. No one moved, bro they even stopped breathing for a moment. The others looked at each other bewildered and then back at Chan, who was spacing out with a silly smile on his face. "I'm in l-love with, Moon Byeol." He smiled widely and looked at the front.

"Now I think of it, I have always had this little sweet spot for her." Chan started in English. Minho rolled his eyes along with Eunji and looked at each other with a scowl. Felix, Iseul, Seungmin and Jisung's faces screamed 'my time to shine'. Minho regretted not going to Australia with his parents and staying with his grandma and Eunji regretted for ditching English lessons. But then Chan again switched to Korean, making the two sigh in relief.

"Yes, I was close to a lot of girls, but I've never been so caring or attentive to anyone except her. She got my attention on the first day as well, when she practically did nothing but only helped a junior who fell down, and till today as well, when she again did nothing, but promised to not bother me again." A tear slipped down Chan's cheeks.

"I knew there was something more than only friendship, but I always denied it, to not break our friendship. When she confessed, I internally felt happy, but denied my feelings, thinking that it was nothing and blamed it on the weather. I even ruined our pretty friendship. It was not her who should be blamed; it should be me. I was the one who would lead her but will never show her the end." Minho rubbed his temple, "What does he meant by that?" He whispered. "No idea." Seungmin and Iseul shrugged.

"Whatever I said on the group chat was incredibly true. I did feel uneasy whenever I will see her with someone, and it made me at ease when she would turn someone down for me. But I was an asshole for taking her for granted and ruining my own chances. She looked so precious when we weren't friends and was nothing to me when she would follow me around like a lost puppy. But now when she is away from me and is not going to bother me, she looks as precious as before. It hurts to know that now it's her, who is pushing me away." Chan sobbed and Felix rubbed his back.

They all looked at each other, thinking what to do or what not to do. After a few moments, Chan stood up, sniffing. "Sorry for disturbing you guys. Go to sleep. I'm going to sleep as well. Good night." He again sniffed and went to his room. The remaining looked at each other in silence and went to their rooms as well. Chan closed the door of his room and slid down on the floor, while softly crying.

"I'm such a fool for realizing that so late."
