I allowed Birdie to avoid Jordan for another week before I am going to force her to talk to him with the help of Marie who Birdie had given me permission to tell the story to. She was appalled at first but they had such a great and long history that I knew she wasn't as mad as us.
"Birdie, there is a tear in my morphsuit, I was wondering if you could please fix it? I promise you can teach me how to sew this weekend." I have her a toothy grin and winked at Marie as she passed the doorway.
"Alright, no problem Luna." She offered me her hand to help me off the floor since my belly seemed to me growing everyday. Only 5 months in while Marie could have her babies today or a month from now. Werewolf pregnancies are unpredictable.
I made sure Birdie walked in front of me down the hall to the sewing room and mind linked Marie to make sure she was bringing Jordan in through the only other door.
"I'm sorry but you have to talk to him." I quickly whispered to her and she looked briefly confused before I pushed her into the room and locked the door. I could hear her whimper through the door as she realized what I meant and I heard the other door slam shut.
I feel baaaaaaaaaaaaad Marie, I whined and she laughed.
We should give them some privacy, she commented and I agreed.
Where are you at bloodsucker? I laughed as I walked down the hall, hoping that I made the right decision.
You have to come rescue me, your dad has been teaching me to be a king for the past 4 days. He whined dramatically and sent me a picture of the room he was in. It had finally come to him that he could talk to me through my thoughts and that he could access any wolfs thoughts because he was royalty now.
"I have come to steal him back." I announced dramatically as I grasped Axton by the arms and kissed my father on the cheek before I ran out of the room with my mate.
"Thank you for the save love," Axton smiled and kissed my forehead as he pulled me down into a pile of pillows on our bedroom floor. I was between his legs leaning against his chest with both our hands on my belly. "Have you thought of any names yet?" He asked quietly.
"I thought of Athena for a girl and Killian for a boy. If they are both the same gender then we will use one of the names you picked as well as mine." I smiled and rubbed my belly.
"Only one of my names eh?" He laughed and nudged my forward with his chest.
"Yup, just one. What are your ideas?"
"I liked Sierra for a girl and Landon for a boy. Wow, we chose some unique names." He let out a breathy chuckle and looked down at me.
I glanced at him with raised eyebrows. "Oh, Axton and Dove aren't unique names?"
"Well when I was born my name was quite common."
"Yeah sure," I patted his chest and struggled up to my feet. "I better go see if Birdie and Jordan are done talking. I feel bad locking them up."
"It was the right thing to do. Birdie may be sweet but she can be stubborn and we both know she wouldn't have spoken to him on her own, especially with what he did." Axton's face took on a hard edge and I laced my fingers with his as we walked.
I briefly poked into Birdie's head before opening the door. It was a jumble of emotions and things she wanted to say but the message was clear. She wasn't even close to forgiving him but she was allowing him to try and make up for it.
"Birdie I am sorry for locking you in here with him but hey, it worked didn't it." I spoke to her softly as I opened the door. They were standing about 10 feet away from each other, Birdie had her arms crossed over her chest and Jordan had on puppy dog eyes as he looked at her. Both their heads snapped to the doorway when I spoke and Birdie quickly made her way out of it and walked away behind us as Jordan briefly stared after her but turned the other way with his head down.
"You're lucky you're my luna or I would put super glue in your shampoo for that." Birdie told me under her breath after I sent Axton away to talk to Jordan.
"I know and I shouldn't have forced you to talk to him but now everything is a bit better and I can tell you are secretly thankful." I stopped her and pulled her into a hug despite her attempts to walk briskly away from me. She sighed before relaxing and hugging me back.
"Thank you Dove. He is going to have to work his rear off before he can even touch me." She said and I started laughing. There's the Birdie we knew and loved.

Hello lovelies! You people can vote on which of the names you want for the babies, I'm not telling the genders of any of the children until they are born 😈 sorry not sorry. You can also come up with names for Marie's children if you want. I might just end up using the rejected names from Dove and Axton. Anyways, exciting and scary stuff coming up very, very soon!
