Secrets of Thieves

chapter 13.

I hated the thought of going out with him even if it meant I got the emerald. I just wanted to go out, and feel the air. I dont even care if it means I get lost. 

I pulled my boots on with a big tug and my leg fell to the floor. I got up from my bed and walked to the mirror. The outfit wasn't bad; thanks to Niki probably. It was a form fitted dark green long sleeve top with black tight pants. They gave me tall black boots with a small heel and a pretty cape with gold buttons down the front, it wasn't full length just down to my waist so it wouldn't get caught on anything. It looked nice and it was more comfortable than it looked. The pants were lined with wool and so was the cape. 

I walked over to the window, the moon in the center of the sky, he's late. Not that I care, I just think its rude to be late, that's all. 

*knock knock*

Okay maybe he's not late. I step towards the sound, my boots making a sound as I walk with a faster pace. I open the door a little faster than I thought I would causing me to be scared by my own speed. I stumble back a bit grabbing onto the door, my head spinning. 

"Geez, don't knock yourself out before you even leave your room." He smirks and turns away walking toward the stairs.

I roll my eyes and stumble out of the room, my hands gliding across the door as I shut it silently. I turn around from the door and Technoblade is already down the hall. 

I jog to catch-up and stubble at his side. His hand shoots up and wraps around my waist. I inhale sharply and he drops his hand. He shoves his hand into his pocket. It gives me a second to survey his attire. He's wearing a white blouse and black pants. For shoes he had on long dark brown boots and at his waist is a small brown corset. His hair is also down, covering his face. What I can't seem to keep my eyes off of is his diamond sword attached to his side. 

I'm not saying he can beat me in a fight, I'm just saying that the blade in my boot is much smaller. 

"You have the key right?" He questions as he turns back to look at me.

I nod and he pushes open the stable doors allowing me to enter as he shuts the door behind us silently. 

I quickly walk through the rows and rows of stables glancing at every horse. Where is Bucky? I can feel Technoblade walking slowly behind me as I frantically search for my horse. I turn to the next row of horses and as I turn I see a flash of black....Bucky.

I quicken my pace, my boots clicking with every step. I shove my hand into my pants pocket and fish out the key almost dropping it. I can hear Technoblade laughing behind me. He's laughing like I'm not going to rob him soon!

I slow down almost falling on my face and shove the key into the keyhole and twist.  The dark oak stable door shoots open and I slowly walk in trying not to startle Bucky. He comes close to my face and sniffs; after a second he starts to nuzzle me and I bring my hands up to him and stroke him softly. 

(I don't know anything about horses so I'm trying my best!)

I look at the wall and see Bucky's reigns and saddle, thankfully they took good care of it, they took a whole mission to buy. 

I let go of Bucky and grab his reigns and heavy saddle. I see Technoblades pink hair out of the corner of my eye. I turn to see him wheeling a step stool to my stable. I move as he pushes it right past me and next to Bucky. I stare at him with a confused face.

"What? You're short, now hurry up, my horse is ready." He holds the three step step stool and I climb on it. His muscles flexing to hold it extra tight. I throw on Bucky's items and Technoblade moves back, pushing the step stool with him. 

I pet bucky's face leaning down to reach. "I missed you, I hope they treat you well here." I whisper to Bucky and sit up straight adjusting my cape over my shoulders.

"You coming or what?"

I roll my eyes and tap Bucky's sides with my boots and he walks out of his stable. I see Techno on a large brown horse, its truly a beautiful horse. 

Bucky pulls up next to Techno and his horse. "Where do you want to go?" He asks slightly looking over his shoulder to glance at me.

"Anywhere."

"Didn't think you hated the castle that much" he lets out a low laugh and shakes his head.

"I didnt think you liked me enough to follow me." I stare at him as he stops laughing and looks straight ahead as we exit the stable. 

"I don't. I just know Tommy likes you and if Tommy likes someone they cant get hurt." I hum in response.

"You know" he turns to me with a small laugh and looks into my eyes, "I've never seen him so calm with anyone."

"He's a good kid, he always comes in my office to sleep or tell me about you or Tubbo." I say looking at him as our horses walk into a field.

"Me?" He looks shocked. Does he not know how much his brother cares?

"Yah, all the time. He talks about how much he looks up to you and how you are The Blade," I say mocking Tommy throwing up my hands and laughing. "He really wants to be like you, he tells  me how one day he will fight you and win." I smile.

 I really like Tommy he reminds me of....
