Emma couldn't believe her parents were making her go to lycee this year. She had passed the le bac, and she had enough credits to qualify! She had even gotten accepted to a good university! Senior experience be damned, she wanted to be done with school! She knew her parents only meant well, but sometimes they could be a real pain when it came to making her own decisions. Her parents claimed they trusted her, but clearly not enough to let her leave early. And now, with her father passing down the miraculous of destruction to her, she was more inclined to stay in their good graces and decided to scrap all ideas of moving to university early. At least her schedule wasn't half bad. The only class she truly dreaded was Calculus.

Schedule: First Semester
7AM to 8:30AM Studio Art
8:45AM to 10:15AM English Literature
10:30AM to 12:00PM Calculus I
12:00PM to 2:00PM Lunch Break
2:00PM to 3:30PM French History
3:45PM to 5:15PM Astronomy

After near falling asleep in her Calc class, Emma went to meet up with Rochelle, Louis(her brother), Charlotte, and Aiko (daughter of Felix and Kagami). Louis and Charlotte decided to go have lunch with their grade school friends today, so it was just Rochelle and Aiko. There was a new girl Rochelle be-friended today, and Emma was more than happy to welcome her into their new trio. Elle had texted Emma earlier that day about her, informing her that the new girl would be joining them for Lunch.

Rochelle introduced the girl in English, "Hey girls! Meet Genevieve! She just moved here from Los Angeles and doesn't know French very well. So we'll have to talk in english for now."

"Bonjour!" Genevieve said, in a very heavy American accent.

"Hello! Not to worry, we have family in America so our English is very good." Aiko informed. Emma nodded in support and said, "Its very nice to meet you Genevieve! We're all friends here."

"I'm so glad! I was honestly worried about not being able to make friends, seeing as I don't know French very well." Genevieve replied.

"You don't have to worry at all! Our senior class is one of the most friendly classes there are. Everyone is very, how do they americans say it, Chill." Rochelle added.

"Thanks! So how do you guys know each other?" Genevieve asked.

"Well, Aiko and I are cousins." Emma started. With Genevieve's reaction, Aiko said,

"My father is French, my mom's Japanese. You can tell whose genes won the battle."

"Its funny because Emma's the opposite, her dad's genes won. She's the spitting image of her father, despite being, like, 25% chinese." Rochelle said with a laugh.

"AS I was saying, my dad's cousin is Aiko's dad. And Elle's parents and mine have known each other since like FOREVER, so we've been told that all of us have been besties since the womb." Emma added with a chuckle.

"Thats supes cool you guys! I have a best friend like that too, our moms have been attached at the womb since forever, but she's back in LA." Gen said.

"So why did you come to Paris?" Aiko asks suspiciously.

"My mother recently got a job here, and it was pure luck that there was a spot open here for exchange students from America. I plan on going back to LA after this year for university, I already got into Harvard! Mostly I'm here for a relaxing break." Everyone gasped and congratulated her when she said Harvard. There was quite a crowd around them now.

"But I thought acceptances for early decision come out in December?" Aiko asked.

"Oh my bad! I forgot to mention, I'm here on a GAP year."

"But that doesn't-" Aiko got cut off by Emma

"Excuse my cousins interrogative voice! She wants to be a lawyer, but can't differentiate her tones in normal conversations, right Aiko?" Emma asked. Aiko stared at Gen for a second before responding with,
"Yes, of course, I apologize Gen. I will have to pick your brain for application advice in the near future. I too, aspire to go to Harvard."

"Oh how wonderful! I could definitely hook you up! Here's my phone, put your number in!" Gen said.

After lunch, all 4 girls had French History. Which was no surprise, it was one of the most popular classes for seniors to take.

"There's my idiot brother and the traitor!" Rochelle pointed out, crossing her shoulders.

"Should we go get them?" Aiko asked looking up from her phone.

"Leave it to me. I have a bone to pick with brainiac." Emma said, clenching her jaw. He had been here since JUNE. And not a single word! At this point she knew his parents better than she knew him!
