Jay and Bishop walked down the hall, greeting some of the students in passing. Jay wanted to speak with Bishop about Sean, considering all the students were talking about him, whispering to each other about what happened last night. Jay wasn't in the car scene; he had no idea about the drifting scene in Tokyo. "The students can't seem to stop whispering today." Jay commented as they headed to their shared classroom. Bishop pushed open the door, smiling at three students who had arrived early for class. "They keep talking about a race..." Jay kept his voice down, just in case someone was listening in.

Bishop nodded as she turned her attention to the black board. "I am aware of the situation." Bishop said. "Don't worry about it, Jay, it will die down." Eventually. But seeing Sean's horrible drift – no, nonexistent drifting, would be the talk of the school for a very long time. At least until Sean got the hang of the drifting world.

Bishop pulled out her phone from her pocket. She saw a text message from Han, asking if Sean was attending school today. Bishop wasn't sure why Han wanted to know that, but whatever the reason was, Bishop was going to answer him. After all, Sean owed Han a car now. "You know how students are, Jay, they will gossip about any and everything that happens outside of school." Bishop commented as she answered Han quickly.

Han replied, saying that Bishop had to pick up Elle from school today then.

Bishop made a face at her phone before silencing it and putting it back into her pocket. She went back to what she was planning for today's lesson.

"Well, whatever they're talking about, Sean seemed pissed." Jay commented.

Bishop had no answer to that. Sean totally made a fool out of himself last night at the race. He had no idea what he was getting into and now he had Takashi's ass on his. But from what Bishop could see, Sean was hard-headed, he didn't back down from a challenge. And with Han's words, he was interested in Sean.

Whatever the fuck that meant.

"He also has no interest in Japanese." Jay said.

Bishop laughed at his comment. "No, I haven't noticed." Bishop turned her head to the side. "He denied wanting my tutoring sessions. So, I doubt you'll get much out of him, Jay." Bishop shrugged.

Bishop hoped that Sean learned that learning the language would help him in the long run, but it was up to him if he wanted to learn. Bishop knew that he was just being stubborn right now because he didn't want to be in Japan, but seeing him last night at the race, she doubted it would the last time he attended a race or found a way to learn to drift to beat Takashi.

Jay sighed. "It's always difficult to teach a kid like him."

"Japanese isn't the easiest language to speak. And considering how little the United States cares about having their students learn a second language that isn't French or Spanish, somebody like Sean, I doubt he'll become fluent during his time here." Bishop explained.
