Bishop looked around the bare apartment. The movers were finishing up taking the boxes out of the apartment and bringing them to the Agency. They were providing Bishop with whatever she needed to make the transition from Japan to California was as smooth as possible. Bishop was making sure nothing was left behind.

The move to California wasn't sudden, Han and Bishop made that decision years ago. They said whenever the team found out that Han was alive, they'd make the move to California. As much as Bishop would miss Tokyo, she was grateful for eleven years she spent there. She enjoyed her life, but it was time to go back to the states where all their family was. Bishop knew the transition for the kids would be harder than her and Han, but they were ready for it.

Bishop held Quinn at her hip, taking in the apartment one last time before leaving it behind. She kissed Quinn's cheek as he babbled. "You'll like California." Bishop whispered. "You won't believe how many aunts and uncles you have waiting to meet you and your sister." Quinn grabbed Bishop's face, giving her a smile. "That's my boy."

Bishop turned off the light as she left the apartment. Han was standing at the bottom of the stairs with Usagi. Elle was distracting Ren for a few minutes until Ren saw Bishop coming down the stairs.

Usagi placed a hand on her hip. "I can't believe you're leaving."

"I'm still a part of the Agency, Usagi, don't make it seem like I'm retiring." Bishop shook her head as she stopped right next to her. "I'm just one plane ride away, you can visit at any time." Bishop said.

Usagi crossed her arms. "It won't be the same. Without you and Ben, it will be weird going to work every day." It had been a few weeks since everything happened, and they still didn't know where Mr. Nobody or Benjamin ran off to. Aimes had declared them dead, which Bishop decided to investigate that when she got back to the states. But Usagi did have a point – it would be different.

Bishop was still working for the Agency, but as a free agent now. After what happened with Jakob, Bishop decided that if she would still work for the Agency, it would be under her own terms, no matter what. If her terms weren't met, Bishop would walk, with all of the Agency's secrets, and she could hack in all she wanted. Aimes had to agree to her new terms, even if he didn't want to.

Leaving the Japanese branch of the Agency was bittersweet, but it was time.

"At least I'm now a free agent." Bishop shrugged. "What I always wanted."

Usagi hugged Bishop, "I'm going to miss you."

"I'll miss you too."

"I'm surprised that Aimes allowed that." Usagi said as she pulled away. "He has a stick so far up his ass that it truly surprises me."
