The two agents stood around, waiting impatiently for Mr. Nobody and Hobbs. Benjamin took the time to start pacing back and forth in front of Bishop. Bishop looked at phone in the meantime, flipping through the pictures she took from Ren's third birthday party. Han must have taken her phone at some point, capturing a short video of Ren on Bishop's lap, blowing out the candles on the cake. It only took a few tries, but Ren got it in the end. Bishop smiled sweetly at the video.
This was the first time that Bishop was away from Ren for a long period of time. When she went back to work, Ren didn't seem to mind too much, mainly because Bishop worked from home most days so going into the office was nothing. However, Ren woke up to Bishop not in the apartment, and according to the text from Elle, she cried.
Even though Ren was a classified daddy's girl, she still loved her mom just as much. Bishop felt upset that she left Ren when she was asleep, but the urgency of the mission was a little more important. She'd make it up to Ren when she got back – plus, she promised Elle she'd bring back souvenirs from wherever she did end up. Bishop would pick up something very nice for Ren.
"There you are!" Bishop locked her phone, placing it into her messenger bag. Mr. Nobody approached with Hobbs in tow. "Agent Hobbs, you remember Tyler Bishop." Bishop gave Hobbs a smile, shaking his hand briefly. "She's one of my own, I hope she wasn't too much trouble when you two met." Mr. Nobody said.
Bishop frowned, punching Mr. Nobody in the shoulder.
Mr. Nobody ignored the punch. "And Bishop's partner, Benjamin Hampton. They'll be at your service." Mr. Nobody said. Benjamin went to say something, but Mr. Nobody silenced him instantly. Mr. Nobody looked at Bishop, "Is the team here?"
"Yep."
"Perfect!" Mr. Nobody clapped his hands together. "This way." Bishop and Benjamin followed Mr. Nobody and Hobbs, heading down to the conference room where the team was waiting.
"Two questions."
"Yeah."
"My daughter?"
"With your sister."
"Toretto?"
Benjamin scoffed.
Mr. Nobody paused for a moment, chuckling over the situation. "It's interesting you ask." Hobbs opened the first set of doors. Mr. Nobody stopped Bishop and Benjamin from entering.
"Fuck, Usagi wasn't lying." Benjamin crossed his arms. "He really wants the element of surprise." He stated.
Bishop rolled her eyes, a smirk appearing on her face. She looked through the glass into the conference room. Just by the body language, Bishop could tell that the team was pissed they were just snatched the way they were. Bishop found out that they were brought in in handcuffs because the new guy didn't realize that Mr. Nobody didn't mean arrest them.
