Chapter 10 - Both sides

In the morning, the turtles and Splinter were more than surprised to see the mess of a breakfast that Michelangelo had made, Leo was already fed up with Mikey's and Donnie's antics, but disrespecting a meal like that, even their own father's, it was just too far, as the oldest brother and the leader of the team, he took it upon himself to deal with Michelangelo this time around, since the other two brothers didn't seem to be helping anyone afterall, he headed to Mikey's room and knocked on the door, disturbing Mikey's sleep.

🔵 - "Michelangelo, open the door, we need to talk."

🟠 - "What is it?"

🔵 - "Oh, you KNOW what is it."

🟠 - "Are you upset because I didn't make the breakfast you like?"

🔵 - "AND for screwing up the kitchen, whatever was THAT you made doesn't matter right now."

🟠 - "Sorry, I was just gonna mess with Donnie's and Raph's food but... I'm not in a position to pick favorites."

🔵 - "And so you leave that mess behind for us to clean up while you sleep in? This isn't like you Mikey, come out already so we can talk this out."

🟠 - "No."

🔵 - "Mikey, I'm not in the mood for playing around right now, just do as I say and we can get this over with sooner."

🟠 - "Easy for you to talk."

🔵 - "Michelangelo, you're really getting under my nerves so if you don't open this door willingly, I'm gonna break it down myself."

🟠 - "...."

🔵 - "There's a lot of things I can handle, but disrespecting our father was a line you should not have crossed, I'm gonna count to 5 and if this door doesn't open, I'm bursting my way in and dragging you out of there, you hear me?"

Leo claimed in an anerved state, not even noticing that his father was there hearing his speech, with dread and disapproval in his eyes.

🔵 - "One..... two..... three.... Fo-OOOOH!!"

With a swift motion, Splinter got a hold of Leo's scabbard and pulled him aside, futher from Michelangelo's room.

🐀 - "Leonardo!"

🔵 - "Ah-ha-hai, sensei! I was..."

🐀 - "My son, what do you think you're doing?"

🔵 - "I was... trying to get Mikey to come out of his shell..?"

🐀 - "By... threatening to confiscate his door?"

🔵 - "Well, uh...."

🐀 - "Revoking his right to privacy?"

🔵 - "But, Sensei, you saw what he did, and all of that over a dumb fight with Donnie, he's just getting out of hand!"

🐀 - "I feel like this context is lacking information, I know the boys I have raised and I specially know that a single bad fight with a single brother wouldn't get your younger brother to act or behave this way, Michelangelo would never punish all of us for a single person's mistake, and as his older brother I thought you'd know the same."

🔵 - "I... I'm sorry, master Splinter."

🐀 - "Now, whatever had your brother acting out in this degree, I, as yours and his father, will try to talk to him about it, in the meantime, if you want to assist me in handling Michelangelo, you can go to the others and ask if they have done or said anything we should know about when approaching Michelangelo about this issue, understood?"

🔵 - "Y-yes! Sensei, I'll do that right away."

🐀 - "Good, and Leonardo."

🔵 - "Y-Yeah?"

🐀 - "Try and be more careful with your words and the way you express them, the things you said to your brother are a far cry to what I have taught you on how to handle a bad situation between your team, I expect you to start learning to either keep your composure in times of stress or coming to me instead, ok?"

🔵 - "I... of course, master."

Leo arrives to the kitchen and finds Raph and Donnie cleaning the kitchen with bitter looks on their faces, Donatello specially seems agitated, a bit too much for an early morning, Leo wasn't noticed when he walked in, so that gave him time to think, what could have happened to Mikey after the fight with Donnie, Leo was sure Donnie didn't go anywhere near him since then, he'sbeen avoiding Mikey like the plague, so he couldn't have done anythingas far as Leo's concerned, Raphael in the other hand, dragged Mikey away and stayed with him in his room for a short while before being supposedly "kicked out" (on Raph's words) maybe he did something to upset Mikey.

🔵 - "Raph, did you say something to Mikey?"

🔴 - "Oh GREAT!!! NOW WE'RE POINTING FINGERS AT EACHOTHER! JUST. GREAT!!"

🔵 - "Hey!"

🟣 - "If you did, you should have done more, 'cause his brains are still in need of some rearranging!"

🔵 - "Donnie, come on now!"

🔴 - "You wanna know what I did, Leo? I PUT THAT GUY IN HIS DAMN PLACE, BECAUSE HE SEEMS TO THINK THAT HE CAN JUST SCREW US AROUND HOWEVER HE LIKES AND GET A PAT IN THE HEAD!!"

🔵 - "What did you do?!"

🔴 - "Oh, spare me, Nardo! He's been hitting on April just to get under Donnie's skin and SHE'S LETTING HIM just to get a break from Donnie, which would be ok, IF THEY WEREN'T HAVING MAKE OUT SESSIONS!!"

🔵 - "Why is that a concern to YOU of all people?!"

🔴 - "I have a girlfriend and I'm trying to get that jerk to quit it before he comes after Monalisa next!"

🔵 - "Are you seriously considering the idea Mikey would do this? Or even, that Monalisa would GO with it?! YOU have issues, Raph!"

🔴 - "Oh, what do WE know?! Just a few weeks ago we thought it'd be impossible  for Mikey to have a date, now he's pulling up to April like they're already girlfriend and boyfriend and the nerd over here is losing his marbles over it, I'm tired, man!!"

🟣 - "Listen here you little SQUA_"

🔵 - "Enough!! Both of you! Have you guys even considered asking April what happened instead of assuming our baby brother just suddenly became some sort of hooker?"

🟣🔴 - "..."

🔵 - "Yeah, I can already see you didn't, let's get April's side of the story and THEN we figure out what Mikey is doing, Sensei is already talking to him."

🟣 - "Do any of you have her phone? She kinda... won't pick up my calls..."

🔴 - "Geez, I wonder why."

🔵 - "No sarcasm right now, Raph, I don't have it, do you?"

🔴 - "Yeah, yeah, I'll call, let's just clean this damn room first, it smells like carbonized hamburgers."

🔵🟣 - "Ok."
