Purple and Black? No, Orange! [PAUSED]

Chapter 12 - Quick punishment

🟣 - "She kissed him..."

🔵 - "Well, seems like it, she sounded very sincere at least."

🟣 - "...."

🔴 - "Don't think too hard about it Donnie, even though she was the one who approached Mikey, as your brother, he should have backed off instead of getting all gitty about it."

🔵 - "RAPH!! That's not the way to go!"

🔴 - "Any better ideas then, blue ice?"

🔵 - "Well in fact I do, and it's surely not making Mikey responsible for it, now that we got the story straight and it proved you both wrong, I expect you to apologize to Mikey for everything you guys said about him."

🔴 - "And who are YOU to talk to us that way?!"

🔵 - "The older brother of this family and the leader of our team, now go!"

While the brothers argued in the kitchen, Michelangelo was already falling asleep by his father's side, Splinter laid his son down more comfortably as he himself got up, Michelangelo seemed to noticed his father missing even during his sleep, but Splinter was quick to counter his distress by giving Michelangelo his old teddy bear to serve as company in his absence, this seemingly helped Michelangelo settle down and easy him back into a deep slumber, Splinter took his leave after making sure his son would rest well, he headed to the kitchen to finally make some breakfast and get the place cleaned up, but he was surprised to encounter his three older sons arguing in the kitchen.

🔵 - "Ah! Sensei."

🟣 - "We were just... uh..."

🐀 - "Planning to apologize to Michelangelo? Or at least explaining to me what happened, I hope."

🔴 - "Well... yes, but... we just called April to ask about what had happened and..."

🐀 - "Does she know? Or was she involved in this incident?"

🟣 - "Well...."

🔵 - "Apparently April gave Mikey a kiss and that apparently was enough reason for Donnie to chew Michelangelo out and Raph backed him up on the argument."

🔴 - "HEY!! That's NOT what happened!"

🔵 - "Oh, sorry! Raph just dragged Mikey to his room, backed him into a corner and said some of the worst stuff he could think of to our brother as if he was trying to make out with April just to spite Donnie! Does that sound better, brother?"

Leo kept a short, stern and a bit of a sarcastic tone in his voice, the wording he used was a bit harsh but it wasn't exactly wrong, so Raph just lowered his head in shame, not wanting to make more of a scene in front of his father, Donnie was quiet, way too quiet, he knows what he did was far worse than what Raph had done and denying it would be stupid of him, but he wasn't willing to admit his wrongs just yet, so he remained silent under his father's sharp gaze, Splinter was taken aback after knowing the full story of what happened between his youngest sons, this "little argument" he had heard of from Leonardo was far more concerning than he initially thought, he knew that Donatello has been having troubles with Michelangelo over April but never would he have thought that he would stoop so low as to actually assault his youngest brother, physically or verbally, and the fact Raphael joined in on attacking Michelangelo's character like that on a whim felt like a dagger in his back, the disappointment was so grand that Splinter almost had to lean on his staff for support, and as for usual, a migraine hit him like a truck and Splinter had to sit down for a moment, the stress had him rubbing his temples in frustration, meanwhile, Leo, Raph and Donnie could only stand around and watch their father crumble in what they could only guess was disbelief for what they had done.

Splinter took a deep breath to calm down before getting up and making the final decision.

🐀 - "Very well, I see that you boys have had quite the time making a mess of your brother, I think it's better if you boys clean this one up as punishment, until I find something more fitting for you three."

Splinter said strictly before grabbing a cup of coffee and a piece of cheese and then leaving.

🔴 - "Wait, you... three?"

🟣 - "Did you do something too?" 

🔵 - "..."

🔴 - "Oh god, you did something."

🔵 - "I just argued with Mikey through the door, it wasn't all that."

🟣 - *sigh* "Dang it, Leo."
