How did it start? (PeteKao)

This was when the corona took over the world and the whole world shut down, leaving everyone locked up in their homes. It was the same with Petekao, they just had a small wedding reception as they couldn't legally get married in Thailand but they had a party with their close ones where they said their vows and exchanged their rings. They wanted to register their marriage in Us but sadly couldn't because of the pandemic. They preferred referring to themselves as 'husbands' rather than boyfriends even though they were not legally married. 

They graduated from university 3 years ago. Pete was working in his father's company, preparing to take over soon.  Kao was taking classes for various batches, he was also working as an engineer under Pete's dad's company. When the lockdown was announced everything stopped and shut down but it all shifted to online. So Pete started having his meetings online while Kao started taking online classes. Kao didn't have a lot of business meetings so continued with teaching.

On their non-working day,Pete and Kao were sitting in their living room watching TV and cuddling. Something disrupted their warm atmosphere when Pete's phone rang. Whining Pete took his phone seeing it was P'JO, he grumpily picked up the call "Hey Pete!" "What do you want p?" Pete responded, "Why do you assume I only called because I want something?" "Did you not call only because of that?" Pete retorted "You know me so well! So, I wanted to ask for a favour." P'Jo said. "What is it P? Better not be something Absurd." " Let's see! It is something that you and kao have to do together. So if possible, get him on the call." "Ok..?"

Pete put the call on speaker gesturing kao to join the conversation. "Sawadee krap P'Jo" "Sawadee nong. At Least someone has manners between the two of you."P'Jo commented. "Just get to the point." Pete said." Ok!Ok! So you know how tiktok couple challenges are trending these days?" 

"Yeah..?" Pete and kao responded in a questioning tone. "So Pete won the last Pete 'abou a aboyz' competition and you two have a huge fan following. Would be down if I asked you to make a tiktok account and post couple challenges?" P'jo asked carefully as he knew petekao preferred to keep their relationship private even after they came out grandly through pete's live. 

Pete looked at Kao directly but was surprised when he saw Kao looking at him. " But how would that publicise your event p?" Kao asked. "Well, as many already know about your relationship and have shared a lot of moments from when you used to shoot while kao was present in the studio. A lot of people already started following us, if you do the couple challenges the more spotlight will go on the event. I won't force you but only if you agree." P'Jo explained."Well get back to you soon about this p." Kao responded. "Ok! But if possible tell me by this evening please." p'jo said, hanging up.

"So? Do you wanna do it?" Pete asked Kao "What about you?" Kao asked back while thinking deeply. "I mean it would be fun. But I know you are uncomfortable with this." "I wanna do it too. I have seen so many couples do it on tiktok. I wanted to do it but I wasn't sure if you wanted to do it." "So we doing it?" Pete asked grining. "We're doin it!" Kao responded. Pete quickly typed out a message to P'Jo but putting his conditions.

-They won't do every trend, only the ones they feel comfortable with

-They'll try to post once or twice a week and regularly if they felt like it

-Try not to ask them to collaborations

-No brand endorsement with the ones they won't feel comfortable with

P'jo quickly responded and agreed to all their conditions and asked them to try to upload a video in the next two days. Pete agreed and looked at Kao asking "Shall we set up the account?" " A Step ahead of you" Kao responded while looking at his phone. "How do you fell about the username @.petekao?" Kao asked "um.. Its a bit common and expected. Ok, it's perfect. Set it as @.petekao." "You sure? We can keep it something else, babe " "Nah! It's good as it is Honey." Kao nodded and finished setting up the account and told Pete the password so that he can log into.

After all of it was done they both reclined to the couch. "So, when we are shooting this, should we tell each other before doing the video or catch the genuine reaction?"Kao asked Pete, resting his head on pete's shoulder. "Hmm.I think the latter but before uploading, showing the video to each other respectfully and only uploading if both of us are okay with it." Pete responded kissing Kao's hair repeatedly. "Ok!that sounds great.So I guess all the challenges will be a surprise to the both of us." Kao responded by hugging Pete from the side and melting in Pete's chest.

Pete hummed slowly sniffing Kao's hair "does my hair smell?" Kao asked Pete while closing his eyes. "Umm no but I think you should take a shower." Pete responded grining. "Why do I smell?"Kao asked, bringing his shirt to his nose and sniffing. "No! You should take a shower because I want one."Pete said, carefully carrying a protesting kao to the washroom.
