Dark blue kiss special chapter had Kao being jealous of Pete supposedly giving his no. to a girl. I'm twisting it up a bit cause who doesn't love a bit of drama and groveling from the top.

According to the book

"June, what are you looking at...?"

"I'm looking at the couples who take their friend for granted."

June answers Sandee and purses his lips. They're juniors now, and June remains single while Thada and Sandee are in a relationship after having been through lots of things. Pete and Kao's relationship were also revealed during those times.

After June found out Pete and Kao were dating, it got slipped out of his mouth when he talked to a friend in the faculty. After that, the news got spread until it wasn't a secret anymore...It only showed that June really didn't get the nickname 'June knows, the world knows' by luck!

It doesn't affect Pete and Kao's lives that much, though, since the the young generation is open–minded about sexuality. Some people look at them weirdly or curiously when they're spotted together. Even so, since they've been through tough times together and dated for a few years now, people looking at them or gossiping about them are no big deal at all.

As long as their close friends and family accept them, it's like they have a 'shield' so strong nothing can make them waver or ruin their relationship.

June is the only single one in the gang. He used to tease his friends about their ships and love, but now the pressure is on him because his friends are now teasing him for being the only one single.

Even though they're in their third year now, seniors to their juniors, their silly, trivial, teasing bickering is still the same...and never changes.

"This is how single people are...They're jealous."

Pete wraps his arm around Kao's neck, showing off, making June roll his eyes in annoyance.

"Now that your relationship has been announced, you keep showing off your boyfriend."

"I have to, otherwise I'll lose to the newlyweds like Sandee and Thada."

"Why mention us? We haven't done anything," Sandee grumbles.

She hates to be teased because she doesn't know how to act when she's shy. "Go on fighting with June. Don't drag us in."

"Haven't done anything..? Look at Thada's heart eyes," Kao teases.

"Stop it, Kao, or she'll be mad at me. She always scolds me for being expressive."

"Cut it out, you guys are all the same. It's torturing enough for me to watch you couples study together, and now you're fighting about who's sweeter. Mercy on a single guy here, please."

"Find yourself a girlfriend. What's so hard about it?" Pete suggests.

"Is it easy like that? If it'd been that easy, I would've had a girlfriend since my first year."

"Come on, you'll have a girlfriend when the timing is right," Sandee consoles June.

"Like us, right" Thada gives her a sweet smile.

"Stop it, Thada. Shut your mouth." Sandee scowls at her lover.

"But...what kind of girl will June's girlfriend be?" Pete ponders.

He's seen June flirt with many girls. His type also changes all the time —sometimes cute and petite, sometimes sharp and beautiful. He once asked a cool model–like a girl's number, but he also approached a sweet, well– mannered girl.
