Taylor's Outfit ^^^

Taylor's Perspective
'Okay... what time are you getting here?' She questions down the phone to her bestfriend Selena. 'No problem Sel, be as quick as you can, so you can help me set up all the beds on my floor for tonight, i'm currently trying to clear floor space but all my clothes seem to have thrown themselves there, which is so rude'.
She could hear Selena giggle on the other end of the phone, 'Tay, we've been doing this for like nearly 15 years, since being literal toddlers why do you always leave it until the last minute,' she rolled her eyes and groaned down the phone to her best friend. 'There's just so many people to organise for, it was much easier when we was younger we all easily fit in my room, now the guys take up too much space... oh and you are not sleeping next to Niall by the way Sel!' She informed the brunette down the phone. Selena and Niall had been dating for roughly 3 months, it's kind of an on again off again situation but now they seem to be taking it serious, she was happy for her best friend; especially, because she knew Niall so well through growing up together, they have been kind of morphed into a friendship group from being infants, however that makes it extremely awkward for the group when they're having one of their off moments. 'Urgh, don't be boring Tay! If I can't sleep next to my beautiful Niall...' Taylor rolled her eyes and giggled at her best friends infatuation with him, sure he's cute but her obsession with him was concerning at times, '...then, you can't sleep next to Travis!' the brunette hesitated then remarked back. She could feel her cheeks flush red, 'ew Sel no he's gross, besides isn't he still with... erm what's her name?' She responded, she did know the girls name, it was Amber and let's just say they're not exactly besties. After several more minutes of chatter Selena hung up and informed Taylor she was on her way.

Taylor's relationship with Travis has always been confusing; growing up they were as close as could be, they did everything together, but once they started high school 3 years ago things changed. Their reputations became their priorities, although they still existed within the same 'friendship group', Taylor felt they were still merely strangers in comparison to what they once were. Travis had become quite the ladies man, being the captain of the football team always helped of course; he had been through most of Taylor's cheer squad, including her friend Cara. That was an awkward time for Taylor, despite it being none of her business she couldn't help but feel bothered by it, thankfully it only lasted approximately 2 weeks and they just remained friends, he wasn't exactly known as the 'committal type'. But she could see why so many girls swooned over him, she wasn't stupid he had such a way with words, he could make you feel like the most special girl in the world, loved a flirt and of course was extremely good looking. Their past was complicated to say the least, they shared their first kiss with each other on this exact day 3 years ago; it was awkward, well what isn't at 14, both wanting to get it out of the way before they started high school because to them back then, not having your first kiss by then was simply 'embarrassing'. Now their relationship consists of back and forth remarks, flirty comments and awkward eye contact.

.

'Taylor, the Kelce's are here!' Andrea shouted up to her teenage daughter, great she thought. She was hoping Selena's mother had her foot down and was going to get her best friend here asap so she didn't have to suffer with just being in his presence until she arrives. Taylor, begrudgingly stomped down the 2 flights of stairs from her bedroom on the top floor down to her families large open plan kitchen. 'Hi honey!' Donna, Travis' mother called over to her with her arms flung out to give the tall blonde a big hug. Taylor has always adored the woman, growing up she's always been sort of a second mother, always checking in on how she's doing, complimenting her beauty and always expressing the blonde needs to spend more time at their home, given her awkward relationship with Travis that wasn't likely but she always appreciated the open invitation. ' Oh goodness, you get more beautiful every time I see you sweetie, doesn't she Trav?' she exclaimed softly hitting her son on his side. 'Her head gets bigger!' Travis jokes making his mother tut and roll her eyes, he then runs through the home looking for Taylor's younger brother Austin, who he always viewed as his little brother. 'Ignore him honey, he's just trying to flirt with you,' Donna responds, but before Taylor could interject she sits the blonde down next to her eager to hear all about what she's been up to over the summer and what her plans were for her cheer squad.

.

After several minutes of mingling, small talk and catch ups everyone had arrived just shortly after the Kelce's; all the parents were downstairs breaking open bottles of wine and snacks, whilst all the teens were up on the top floor of the house in Taylor's room trying to organise all of the makeshifts beds for the night. The group consisted of: Taylor, Selena, Cara, Blake, Martha, Brittany, Travis, Patrick, Niall, Ryan and Austin, Taylor's brother had tagged along.

Taylor was currently getting more wound up at Travis who had annoyingly started making up his bed next to hers. 'Erm what do you think you're doing? You are not going next to me' Taylor questioned him, with her hands on her hips. 'Excuse me princess, but I don't know whether you have noticed there is physically no more space,' he responded in a cocky tone. She briefly looked around, he was right Cara, Blake and Martha had already claimed Taylor's bed and all the others had rapidly took over all the empty floor space. When she focused back on Travis she saw he was currently flicking through the pages of a book. 'woah! what are you doing?' she realised it was in fact her diary and she quickly went to try and snatch it out of his hands. Travis thought this was hilarious and then persisted to hold it up over his head far out of the blonde's grasp. Taylor was getting flustered and mentally kicked herself for leaving it laying around with company in her room, Travis in particular. he rummaged back through the pages of the pink book, giggling to himself as he did, mimicking Taylor's voice, 'today, Harry walked me home after I finished cheer practice, it was so romantic, it started raining and he gave me his jacket, then we went up into my room-' . Taylor cut him off by finally managing to take the diary from his hands and throw it into her closet her face a bright red, so embarrassed he read that. 'That was personal,' she responded to him through gritted teeth, luckily everyone else was now huddled on Taylor's bed to engrossed in their own conversations to even pay attention to what was going on, Taylor was thankful of that at least. 'Oh I bet it was, princess' Travis responded in a hushed tone, with a small smirk and a wink; he had leaned his head down now so his face was close to hers as he said this, making her breathing hitch. Travis then passed by her touching her back as he walked past to join the rest of the group. Taylor spent another second staring at the wall, regulating her breathing and allowing her face to return to its natural colouring. This is going to be a long night...
