Lydia's POV
"So what did my mum say to you?" I ask Shawn as I step into the car.
"Nothing really" he snaps
"Wow are you okay?" I touch his shoulder. "Do you want me to go back and ask her what she did to you?"
"No it's okay, I'm fine really" he fake smiles.
"Okay, I let it go for now but when I ask later you better tell me the truth"
"Okay, but I wanna know something first"
"And what's that?" I'm starting to get a little nervous.
"Do you like camping?"
"Why?"
"Because I would like to take you, next weekend"
"Like just the two of us?"
"You can have other friends if you would like too"
"Okay, sounds like a plan" I smile.
Shawn comes over and helps me stack the new release rack.
I turn around so that our chest were touching. I really want to kiss him, but I don't want to ruin what we have.
"So you said something about the CDs in the back?" I quickly pull away.
"Uh- yeah they need to be priced" he says awkwardly.
"Okay-" I start to walk away
Shawn quickly grabs me and spins me around and clashes his lips on mine but quickly steps away and acts like that it didn't happen.
"Uh-what" I stare at him.
"Don't stand around go do your job" he smiles.
"You're not ignoring that too Shawn" i smile.
"I'm sorry I'm just, I don't know" he try's to avoid my eyes.
"If it makes you feel any better, I would like to do it again"
I pull him towards me and kiss him once more.
The store door opened as I quickly let him go and walk out the back to the CD's.
Wow that was amazing though. I have never felt so alive like this. There something I've got over Shawn and I don't know what but I really need it.
After the customer left Shawn came up behind me.
"We can't let this get in between this work relationship, you know?" He laughs.
"I know" I laugh back.
"Your not going to sue me for sexual harassment are you?"
"Of corse not Shawn, don't be ridiculous!" I giggle.
"So do you want to go camping alone?" He kisses me neck.
"Nah, I'd rather you come with"
"That's what I meant" he laughs at me.

"How was work today sweetie?" Mum greets me as I walk into the door. I decided to go home as it would make me more excited to go camping on the weekend.
"It was okay, it wasn't very busy" I reply.
"Look hun, I'm sorry for everything I have said I just want what's best for you" she hugs me.
She's my mother after all. I can't stay mad at her forever.
"It's okay" I hug back. "Anyway I'm just going to go shower"
I walk up to my bathroom and I start to laugh as I remember Shawn seeing me naked this morning.
My phone buzzes.
It's a text from Shawn.
You're help was good today X
He makes me get butterflies every time.
How is it possible to be this into him in this short of time. He has given me this best job of all time and a smile.
My phone buzzes again.
I hope you know I love you x
At first I thought it was Shawn but it was just Mum.
