Think the title says enough

L- A hug?

Tim takes a step forward and wraps his arms around Lucys small back. His hand is the same size as her whole back so he tries not to make her feel uncomfortable by holding her too tight. Her could feel her fingers moving around on his sholder.

He slightly let go just so they could look into eachothers eyes. He could see the tears forming in her eyes. They were so close that their lips was almost touching.

T- Night

L- G'night

Tim went to his room and laid flat on his stomach covering more than half of the space in the bed. Why was it so hard to confess his feelings. He tried to sleep but could only think about Lucy. Did she feel the same way? Never in a lifetime! She was so out of his leauge.

Lucy had sat down on the couch and put her feet up beside her. She didn't want to be alone, nor did she want to be without Tim. He had taken such good care of her this day and stood by her side when her best friend got killed and his best friend kidnapped to who knows where, he still cared about her and how she felt. But they were just friends right? You can't fall in love with your old TO? Love. Why did she think love. Out of all words she had thought about the most power and meaningfull word, love.

After turning around for many minutes on the couch she decided to stand up and walk to Tim. She stopped by his door secondguessing her choices but still choose to raise her hand to knock. Three light knocks were heard. Even though it was light knocks it still echoed a bit in the hallway to the bathroom. Faster than she expected the door flew open.

He could not sleep. His only thoughts were about Lucy, holding her in his arms, telling her that it will be okay. Waking up beside her everyday and going to bed together every night. Sharing special moments together, getting married, having kids, growing old and see their grandchildren growing up. After some minutes he decided to go for a glass of water and check to see if Lucy was awake. Why did he not know but what he did know was that he had fallen in love with his old rookie, his aide and his absolutely closest friend. He never would have imagined on rookie day a couple of years ago that he would be laying in his bed dreaming about his future with his ROOKIE.

He was just about to turn the handle when he heard a slight knock. Lucy. Had something happend? He quickly swung the door open to see a broken Lucy. Her eyes were glossy and cheeks red.

He took a step forward and embraced her in a tight but relly comfortable hug. He felt her heartbeat calming down a little bit more for every second they stood like this.

T- How are you feeling, Luce?

L- I'm okay now.      (did you see what I did there?)

T- I think we need to talk?

L- Yes, sure. Now?

T- If you're up for it?

L- Yes, we need to get this over with.

T- Do you want to start or should I?

L- Doesn't matter. You can start if you want?

T- Sure, I really don't know how to tell you this but here goes nothing. I love you... you don't have to say anything, I get it you don't like me.

L- No you're right, I don't like you, I love you too

T- Wait what? Are you sure?

L- Wayyyy too sure

T- I just need to ask though, how long have you known?

L- Is 20 minutes good enough?

T- More than enough
