Monday came with little fanfare. Kaveh started his morning as normal but early, and brought his breakfast of pita pockets to his office while looking over his constructed timelines once more. He managed to also secure some coffee after asking a colleague to pick up an order when they were retrieving theirs, paying them back appropriately. Remembering the glass jar, Kaveh removed it and decided he would sketch an image of it for easy transportation, along with some notes about sizing, colors, and how he discovered it. He them placed the object back into the drawer for safe keeping. At the moment, it seemed like a big question mark that needed to be clarified in hopes it would solve the overall mystery better of his situation.
His first thought he realized was that because it was so long ago, the Akasha Terminals were still active. Kaveh reached up to his left and activated his own device. "I need information on magic jars, full of petals." Moments later he reviewed the results of the request but the information was vague and sparse. It worried him as the vast depths of the knowledge of the terminals couldn't even find a result. But he chose not to give up and decided to go complete research the old fashioned way in the House of Daena.
The vast library was bustling with activity as usual. Kaveh found himself saying hello to many familiar scholars and students wandering through, while making his way to what he deemed to be the appropriate section for his required research. Sifting through materials relating to folk tales and fairytales relating to King Deshret made sense to begin with. He was glad the section was near a reasonably quiet corner, including a table he stacked various tomes and books for his peruse.
Some hours passed and Kaveh leaned back in his chair to stretch his arms above his head. He was not used to so much intense reading and studying all in one setting since his student days, and worst he felt upset that nothing seemed to give him any indication to what the glass jar could possibly be. A second dead end, and he worried there would be more to come. And with more dead ends, the longer it will take him to determine why he is in the past and how he will resolve things.
He also wasn't prepared for a visitor to sit down across from his form at the same table, especially not Alhaitham. It felt very familiar to their first meeting in those same halls years ago.

"Umm, hello! Is this seat taken?"
Kaveh was pointing down at the empty chair in front of him as he looked toward the boy sitting on the other side, adorned with silver hair and hints of teal. He was reading a large tome with great focus, not even taking a moment to look up to the person who addressed the question. Kaveh had approached the boy twice in the recent past also but never got a reply. He couldn't help but be intrigued at the junior who he learned was a supposed gifted genius, and he couldn't help but be continued to feel drawn toward him.
Finally, the junior sighed and looked away from his texts to eye the boy opposite to him. Kaveh couldn't help but admire his teal eyes touched with a hint of fiery color, finding it so unique.
"Fine, sit. But don't bother me."
The Kshahrewar felt elated and took the opportunity to sit down, feeling happy he finally could get a response from the quiet student. Though they sat in silence for a while absorbed in their own works, it felt peaceful somehow to Kaveh at the very least. He was so used to being surrounded by others in his darshan that had boisterous temperaments and talkative personalities, though he was not much different in some aspects, but the atmosphere shared between the two felt more calming.
"Hey."
The voice was jarring to hear all of a sudden and Kaveh sharply lifted his head, surprised to see the boy in front of him looking right back at him. He had closed the book he was reading and his full attention was now on him.
